Camping Game Changer
I was looking for a tent to add to my Tacoma truck. I looked at a lot of options that would attached to the roof. Non of those options opened up to the back of the bed. I built a bed platform in the bed of the truck and wanted something that would give us a little more room and privacy. This was the perfect addition. First, it is very well built and a very high quality tent. I love the fact that we can stand up in there. It makes it easy to change our close and move around. We can now slide out from the bed and not have to worry about shoes, dirt or rain. It is so spacious you can setup a bed inside the tent so the family can all camp together. We setup chairs and a table in there to hold our camping stuff. You could even put a pee bucket in there so you don't have to wonder to far from bed. It is easy to setup. The tunnel to the truck is not difficult to figure out. Every vehicle is different, so i suggest playing around with it and finding your own personal setup. You can detach it easily, zip up the tent, and take the truck out for the day. Just back up, attach and you are ready for the night. We love this tent and it has changed our camping experience. Worth every dollar.

Great SUV tent
Me and my daughter bought this SUV tent for a mother/daughter girls getaway camping trip. We set the tent up before we left so we knew how much time it would take and to make sure it wasn't torn or had any defects. Everything was in perfect condition and is made with sturdy materials. We did struggle a bit putting it up when following the directions. The directions are very clear but it was awkward because the last step is to pull the elastic part up over the hatchback of the SUV. When we took it down we discovered it would be much easier to attach the elastic part first then assemble the rest, which we did this week when we actually went camping. The poles that hold up the tent are rugged and this tent is really easy to put together. It has a ton of room and has tons of head space. I am just under 5'7" and I couldn't touch the peak. It has mesh pockets built in to store a bunch of stuff. The bottom is partially attached to the back of the tent where it attaches to the SUV so nothing can get up under the car and into the tent. The elastic goes around the entire back of the SUV and is fastened with clips. It even comes with a projection screen which is great if you have a projector on your phone. My daughter slept in the back of her SUV and I slept on a cot. We had three dogs with us, a dog bed, duffle bags, coolers etc. and had more than enough room for all of us and be able to move around. I definitely recommend this tent. It's worth every penny.

In good weather this is a good option
We set this tent up i about 30 minutes our first time in. It is easy to assemble once we figured out which poles were which. The tent itself is large enough for a family, and I found myself asking why I need this big a tent for just the two of us. I'm thinking that a smaller option is likely going to be our go-to for car-camping. This tent is sturdy once assembles, it packs well and will go back into its bag once it is broken down and rolled up. Remember to put the hardware into the bag separately form the tent. Don't try to roll the hardware into the tent or it will be difficult to get it into the bag. I tried and failed several times. The rain-fly is a convenience that ant tent should have and I'm sure it would come in handy if there were rain. There was none on our only outing with this tent. The height was great, and would accommodate much taller people. the tent had a bit of sway to it until it was anchored in. It felt much better once anchored, but I still wonder how it would fare in strong winds, as there was some sway in the light breeze during our trip. All in all this is a good option for a family and too much for just the two of us.

Very pleased well built.
Tent was perfect for our vehicle. Highly recommend making sure it is staked down and the guide lines are staked down as well fit our jeep wrangler well, and it is extremely durable as it’s first use was in heavy wind and rain. Tent held up and with the rain fly set up, everything in the tent stayed dry. Vents works well and allowed for us to store all our stuff comfortably.

Stable in wind and rain.
I bought this awhile ago for beach car camping on Portsmouth Island (Outer Banks of North Carolina). This past week was my first chance to put it to the test. First off I violated the first rule of camping. I did not do a practice run with setting it up. My wife and I figured it out but the directions were sketchy. The basic set up was fairly straight forward but there are a plethora of straps and buckles with no clear instructions about how to use them. But, as I said, we figured it out. We used specialty sand stakes to anchor the four corners and we set up a large canopy over the front access door for shade. On our third night we got serious wind and rain. The the tornado warning went off about 9:00 PM. There was really nothing to be done except for my wife and I to hunker down with our two dogs in the back of the car. After the tornado warning was lifted, we had a long night of heavy rain and strong winds and the tent stood up to it really well. It was very stable for such a large and tall tent and there was almost no leakage in the driving rain. There was a hint of water that got under the rain fly but nothing that was a problem. I would highly recommend this tent. It is tall and roomy and docks very securely to the hatchback of our Subaru Outback. Paired with a collapsible awning it makes a great car camping system.

Fantastic!
I was hesitant to buy this, due to the minimal amount of reviews, but the ones that had reviewed drove me to buy it. We moved across the country, from California to New York. Every night we stayed in a KOA campground. We also have five dogs that traveled with us as well. The tent held up phenomenally. We went through thunderstorms, wind storms, cold weather, hot weather, and everyone/everything, including the tent, survived. The tent comes with its own stakes, which on their own, would have probably sufficed, but I never used them. I bought the longer ten inch ones. I believe the ones that come with the tent are around 6-8” in length, and are actually pretty beefy/better than most tent stakes. Set-up/tear-down was a breeze after the first night. There’s four poles for the corners, and two that go across the top. All are super good quality and withheld the entire trip. The tent fabric is also made of very good quality. We didn’t put anything down inside the tent floor, and with five dogs and lots of foot traffic, the fabric never ripped or tore. The zipper for the door does have a tendency to snag on the little flap from time to time, but that’s normal for any type of zipper. Just pay attention to what you are doing and it won’t snag. The top portion of the tent is completely mesh, which is great for hot nights, and there’s a very easy to install rain fly that covers it up for rain/cold weather. It will hold in heat quite well. The only rain that got in was through the electrical cord hole, which I’m sure would have not happened, had I checked it and sealed it up better. Overall, it’s a very well made tent, that I would absolutely buy it again! However, I don’t think I’ll need to buy a new one any time soon, because this thing is still holding up strong! 10/10 recommend!

Only so so..
First off, I am a very experienced camper/tenter, over 60 years of camping. The tent itself is made with very thin materials and all the zippers are very light weight so I am a bit worried about longevity. Second the instructions could be much better than they are, typical for foreign products. Setting this up is a two person job, it can be done (I did)) by one person, but will take 1 to 1 1/2hours to do so. This a very handy item and the concept is good, but the product is only fair. I am keeping this tent, but only because of the low price, otherwise I would return.

Very nice tent
A little confusing to set up but it worked perfectly for a 4 day camping trip in our van. Roomy and no leaks when it rained.

Functional .... good ventilation .... roomy .....
The tent handled wind & rain with no issues ..... It is tall , no problems standing up. It fit very nicely on our 2024 CRV . The directions could be clearer with larger pics of how the straps integrate. We set this up on a trial run in the yard in a 30 KMH wind .... that was a challenge for the first attempt but got it up. The straps that connect to the wheels were not easy to figure out but finally got it through trial & error. After a four day trip I still cant figure out what to do with the 2 loose light grey straps. There are 2 straps at the back of the open hatch that I don't know what to with...... but it did fit snuggly around the back of the vehicle. The fly supporting ropes have a slider on them to tighten the tension to stabilize tent ..... the sliders do not hold very well & a better design of those would be recommended. I like the holding power of the 2 suction cups . Exc idea . I could suggest using a Thermocell for 15 minutes prior to going to bed ..... absolutely no mosquitos after that ...... but before using the Thermocell the mosquitos were brutal .... likely got in while setting up. Likely 25 minutes with 2 people to set up ready to use . I am 82 , have camped for at least 75 years & would rate this unit at 4 out of 5. Nothing is perfect . We do like it & would recommend it .
