Small and compact but powerful!
I was looking for a small unit to replace an LG bookshelf stereo I was using with a pair of paradigm atom 7 bookshelf speakers. I found this fosi amp with 1 analog in and though I'd give it a try. Upon hookup and having my first listen I was totally blown away at the sound. The LG system I was using before pushed 550 watts before but that system had 2 bookshelves and a sub that went with it and I never got the sound out of my paradigms with that like I do now with this fosi amp. Clean and clear sound is how I'd describe my sound now with this fosi amp. Call me impressed fosi but this is incredible for such a compact amp. I will be ordering again if I need an amp for a garage setup or something. If any of you are in need of a small amp for a pair of bookshelves with only one source needed give this fosi a serious look. IF this thing last it will be a jewl in the audio world. Thanks again fosi for a great product. *UPDATE* I was so impressed with this amp powering my paradigm bookshelf speakers that I had to buy another. I have definitive 9060 towers in a stereo setup and I use an emotiva pre amp with a crown xls 1002 amp. The crown puts out 215 watts into 8ohm. I wanted to see how this fosi amp worked with my towers so I hooked it up and hade a listen. Wow is all I can say. I love the fact that this amp has tone controls as well. This amp drives my towers no problem so far and I am impressed I can run them off this amp. If this thing lasts I will be very happy... It has a great warranty but I did buy the 4 year extended. Thanks again Fosi. *Update 2* I wanted to say when I turn my amp off via the front switch the red light goes off. This is probably due to this updated version as a lot of reviews seem to be for the previous version and or the Bluetooth enabled version. I wanted to point this out for others. This amp is running like a champ still powering my towers and I'm loving the clean and clear sound I'm getting out of my deftech 9060 towers. It's like I have new speakers... Lol... My other fosi amp will be here tomorrow for my bookshelves. I'm just giddy that's this amp does this well compared to what I've used before.... Awesome product... Just want it to last but so far has ran very cool and quiet... I Love these little but powerful amps... 😊

Exactly as described. This little guy packs a punch
I've always been skeptical about these little "Class D" amps. I discovered them when people started buying the Lapai LP series, but I held out because they just didn't seem like quality to me. Fast forward to 2020 and we now have lots of "high end" mini amps such as this TB10A from Fosi. All I can say is that this thing doesn't disappoint. My main concern with such a small amp was volume, so I tested these out on some full size tower speakers - one's that aren't very efficient and need little extra gain compared to my other speakers. Surprisingly, I was able to blast those things! I've got two very powerful home theater receivers that can obviously get the job done without even trying, but at 80-90% volume, this amp held it's own and put out enough power to play music at house party levels. This amp is MORE than powerful enough for a bedroom, and good enough to fill a basement or living room with loud sound. The other important thing is obviously the sound quality itself. I can't say anything negative about it. I didn't notice any hiss, distortion, or artifacts of any kind. The sound was clean all the way to max volume. Furthermore, the tone controls are entirely functional. A minor annoyance is that the "flat" position is 12:00 for each knob, but there isn't any notch that holds the knobs in place, so you really have to eye it and make sure both knobs are equal in order to get a flat response. Once moved from that flat position, the sound changes dramatically, but in a pleasing way. You can very easily add some high end sparkle or low end thump without ruining the natural sound of your expensive speakers. As for the little quirks, I encourage the use of banana plugs because the speaker wire terminals are smaller than average and it's really difficult to get the wire in there. The amp itself feels well built, but due to its size, it is very lightweight so I would recommend securing it with Velcro or 3M command strips if doing a semi-permanent installation. With that said, this is the perfect device for a mobile or portable speaker setup. This is exactly the thing to use if you're setting up speakers in an office or gym short-term. I give this product a 5/5 because for the price ($70), I can't imagine getting anything more. It is NOT the loudest, best sounding, most feature-rich amp out there. But for such a low price and such a small form factor, it is well worth the price.

Very nice little amp, with one nitpicky problem
I really like this little amp, it works perfectly for my backyard movie night setup driving a pair of 4ohm weatherproof speakers. It sounds good, will get loud enough for outdoor movies or gaming, and has a nice output gain range for quieter listening or to "crank up the volume" a bit. I have my outdoor system components just stuck on a piece of wood so I can pick it up from where it's stored, put it down on an outside table, and plug in to power and the speaker lines that live inside an electrical box by the fire pit. Its small size and weight is great, and the price is excellent. Has lasted about a year so far with no issues. My one nitpicky problem (that costs a star) is that the output terminals are spaced in such a way that standard 2-prong banana plugs don't fit. Well -- they do fit, but between the left and right positive terminals, and the left and right negative terminals, which would result in incorrect wiring. The manufacturer should change the order of the terminals on the back so these can be used correctly. Given the amount of space on the back, maybe clamp terminals would be a better choice.

Relief from harsh speakers!
When my Dayton Audio AP102 finally lost the left channel, which was weak since it was new, it was time for a new amplifier for my zone 2 outdoor setup. The AP102 lasted about five years, so I have no regrets, other than the persistent weakness in the left channel (which was "remedied" by use of the balance control). I looked at the newer, class D version of the amplifier, but the price had almost doubled since my initial purchase. I was curious to try the new "chip" class D amplifiers, so I started looking. I have had good luck over the years dealing with Parts Express, so I still have good feelings and nothing at all derogatory to say about them...Amazon Prime is just more convenient for me. After trying the Aiyima A07 and finding it unsuitable in my situation due to the lack of bass from my four Dayton Audio IO655s and no way to attenuate the treble nor boost the bass, I decided to try the Fosi TB10A2 primarily because of the included bass and treble controls as well as its reputation for being a more "warm" sounding amplifier. It's tiny, about 2/3 the size of the Aiyima. While I must give a slight nod to the Aiyima for elegance of construction, the Fosi is still nicely put together. When I first got the Dayton Audio IO655s I had one pair on the covered front porch and another pair under the house (which is on pilings). The lack of bass was so radical after I moved my Kicker KB6000s out to my shop, that I had to resort to using a powered subwoofer on the porch...the Dayton Audio SUB-1000, which was a game changer. I was concerned about using an MDF enclosure even on a covered porch...but it has held up extremely well despite the Florida humidity. The under house speakers had to make it on their own. The Dayton Audio AP102 was a class AB amplifier and had (rear-mounted!) bass and treble controls, so it was able to make the under house speakers sound okay. This little Fosi is amazing! the channel separation is worlds better than what I had with the AP102. The treble and bass controls thoroughly tamed my bass shy speakers and all is well once more. The AP102 was rated at 60 watts per channel, the Fosi at 100 watts per channel. Neither of these figures are real world numbers. That said, the Fosi gets far louder without breaking a sweat than did the AP102. It runs totally cool and the vastly improved soundstage really improves our listening experience. Highly recommended.

Still great 7 years later. Amazing sound in a small package.
I bought this unit 7 years ago and I like it so much I decided to go back and write this review today. This little amp paired with a quality pair of bookshelf speakers is shockingly good. Very loud and very clear. I can tell you their customer support is outstanding also. I damaged one of the binding post connectors in a recent move. I sent Fosi an email and they are sending me a new set of terminals for just $10 including shipping.

Simple and performs well
I'm using this to drive a couple of 8-ohm 5 1/4" Polk Audio bookshelf speakers as studio monitors. Plenty of volume for the small room in which these are used. I typically keep the volume control at the equivalent to about a "3". Full-volume it's painfully loud! Very quiet too - with no input signal this thing is perfectly silent at full volume. Very compact. The only thing that made me want to give it a 4 instead of 5 star rating is that I wish the "power" indicator instead indicated that the unit was "on", rather than just indicating that it is getting power. Because it is so quiet, I have a tendency to constantly forget to turn it off. However this is so minor that it really isn't worth knocking off a star. I was looking at a somewhat larger amp under another brand in the same price range, but some of the negative reviews were concerning, even though they were few. I chose this one because there were no truly bad reviews at the time, and those that weren't great didn't scare me off of this amp. Glad I went with it, as it's working great for me.

From Fiber Optic to four Rear Channels
I have been testing this Fosi unit for my rear speakers to get 7.1. First attempt was a Bluetooth (BT) solution (that I later discarded the BT transmitter/receiver because of latency and inconsistent pairing/noise/drops). I hooked it up like this: AV Reciever Amp Out (not pre amp) >> BT Transmitter >> BT Receiver >> Fosi Amp >> Speakers. That was the best solution for BT, but because the BT was not good, I just hardwired it like this: AV Reciever Pre Out >> Fosi Amp >> Speakers. This worked excellent on an old Kenwood VR-8050 and new Polk T-15 bookshelf speakers. Next I am going to use a fiber optic extender. So my hook up will look like: AV Receiver Pre Out >> (maybe Fosi here) >> Fiber Optic Transmitter >> 100 foot of Fiber>> Fiber Optic Receiver >> (maybe Fosi here) >> Speakers. In short, this unit is sturdy and packs a good punch. I love the treble and bass controls, they work very well and can drive consistently. It doesn't get too warm and all I can say is that this is a 5 star unit, I have been beating it up with different set ups for the last week and not really being careful with it at all. Overall, an excellent unit. UPDATE (2/2019) With my Onkyo TX-NR787 this unit is still going strong. Right now the best set up is this: AV Receiver Out >>Fiber Optic Transmitter >> 100 foot of Fiber>> Fiber Optic Receiver >> Fosi >> Speakers. UPDATE (3/2019) Bought an Onkyo TX-RX3100 so I could get 7.2.4. I had to buy a Thor Fiber Audio Extender F-8A (look for Extron wiring diagram online for unbalanced wiring), and the Fosi unit works well. Just remember to use the "pre outs" going into the fiber unit. The Fosi unit does have a little feedback but I can barely hear it. There is some tweaking with the level out on the reciever to get the feedback pushed down.

This amp rocks! Ample power to spare!
This thing rocks! Wow! What a great value. So much power in such a convenient small but well built package! I was a bit worried about some of your other reviews mentioning Sparks if you don't plug it in the right order but I've done it a couple of different ways with no problems. In the video you see I am hooked up to a Schiit Modius DAC and Schiit Magni Heresy connected to a Sony UHD player w a Beatles CD playing on a pair of Emotiva Airmotiv B1+ speakers. They sound amazing with this setup. I couldn't be much happier and would highly recommend this amp. I have no affiliation with Fosi Audio or Amazon in any way shape or form. I'm just your average guy who is really excited about listening to music with some cool new equipment. obviously this is not top of the line stuff but I think it's a great value and can really enhance your enjoyment... whatever you choose best of luck to you! One more thing... Look at how low the volume knob is in my video and consider this is coming through my cell phone, there is so much headroom and strong clean power coming out of this, it's just awesome!

Beautiful sounding pint sized power amplifier.
I have to admit that I was skeptical about this little amplifier on sound and power and let me tell you, this amplifier has a excellent sound quality, just as good as my big amplifiers in my floormodel stereo system, and this little amplifier is capable to drive my podium pro dpi/800c passive speakers which are rated for 10 to 300 watts of power and this amplifier powers these speakers with no distortion at all and gets really loud as well. It really made my speakers sound better than I have ever heard them before, with good punchy bass and crisp high range and fuller mid ranges, it makes my two way speakers sound like three way speakers and also sound like top notch audiophile grade home audio speakers, and these are 8 inch pa dj speakers. Simple to set up and use, just connect the speaker wires, + to +, - to-, the audio source via RCA cable, plug the power supply into the power input on the amp, and power cord into the power supply, turn it on, adjust the treble and bass where you like it, adjust your volume to any level and you are up and running. This is a excellent investment for my small stereo, and I was just blown away by this little fart of a amplifier, buy it and you will be rewarded with audiophile grade sound with a good set of speakers, mine are pa speakers, audiophile grade speakers will most likely sound alot better. One heck of a sounding and powerful little power amplifier for sure.

Tiny Miracle!
This tiny 100 watts a side amp has replaced a large, aging Sony integrated amp and is vastly superior. It is driving 3 pairs of Bose speakers on 3 floors of a three storey house so down to 3 ohms and is coping so, so we'll. There is no perceivable distortion and the sound from the Bose wall and ceiling mounted speakers is full and balanced with the tone controls at mid setting, I had to have the bass turned up with the previous Sony amp. The little amp is truly brilliant and at a ridiculously low price. The power supply unit is not so small, but comes with a decent length of cable so can be tucked away out of sight. I don't write many reviews but I am so impressed I thought I ought to let others know about this tiny Miracle!
