Edit: Bag broke but excellent customer service resolved the problem
we bought two of these bags for the kids. The bag seemed like it would be very sturdy, and as far as the scooter function goes, it probably is. But on our first real trip with this bag the handle became jammed and the button to lower the handle no longer works. So we now have a functioning scooter suitcase that can’t be used as a carryon. Hoping to get some product support! Edit: The seller reached out to resolve the issue and sent replacement parts that resolved the issue. Kids will very excited to keep using these!

Great, Until it’s Not - Didn’t Last
Update: So I loved this suitcase. I actually just went to purchase another one, but couldn’t remember how big it was, so I went and grabbed our blue one from storage. For clarity, we used this ONE time in July. We got home from vacation and stored all of our suitcases right away. It’s now November and we are getting ready to leave for a trip. I pulled the blue one out to find that the release button (drops scooter portion down) wasn’t giving any resistance when pushed and wouldn’t release the scooter. I remember thinking the buttons seemed cheap, but they were at least functional at the time. No clue what happened, but my son was riding it into storage and it was fine. Let’s say something happened in transit, because to be fair, they aren’t really gentle with luggage. However, this is a freaking suitcase. If it couldn’t survive one single flight, then it is junk. Obviously way outside of the return window, but wanted to update to ensure my review wasn’t misinforming, especially considering how expensive these are. There’s no option to contact the company, so I’ll chalk this up to a lesson learned. So we got three different brands of scooter suit cases. There is no comparison. This one is great quality, and the biggest difference was how smooth the wheels maneuver. It holds at least 200lbs (we all tried it lol). It’s super easy to use, and the lock function is awesome. It does travel well, it just friends on what airplane you board. We had to take the wheels off the fit in the overhead on our first flight, but we didn’t on our second. It looks way better than the other options as well. I returned the other two and plan on getting two more of these.

Great customer support, fun product!
I bought a blue and a pink one and took them on a trip— the blue one had a sewing mishap on the zipper I didn’t notice until we were already on our trip, and it kept ripping a little more with each leg of our journey. It never fully ripped open but we were nervous it would. I reached out to the company to explain how this wasn’t wear and tear, and they were so kind and helpful! They reviewed my pictures/videos and sent me a new bag. I’m very satisfied with this customer support, plus my 5 and 8 year olds absolutely adore the bags— it makes travel in the airport soooo much easier! The only thing that is not ideal when they use it is that if the bag is attached and they don’t have their weight on the scooter part when it’s out, the bag falls forward, which knocked down my 5 year old once or twice till she understood what *not* to do when coming to a stop. Otherwise she’s had no issues after that. We use them as carry-on bags and just detach the scooter from the bag and store the scooter over the bag in the overhead bins or the flight attendants have agreed to stash them up in the first class coat closet for me a couple times too.

Breaks after a few uses
Had it for just under 1.5 years and used it about 6 times before the skateboard section disconnected/ fell off in the airport. We only used it indoors and did not utilize the skateboard by itself. We bought another brand for 1/3 the price for our younger daughter and it is still in great condition. This one however is shorter & smaller, and doesn't have the option to pop the wheels off, but was small enough to still fits in overhead spaces. Popping the wheels off was necessary feature for the bigger kids suitcase in order to fit in smaller overhead aircraft spaces. Not worth the price for it to break after so few uses but it was great while it lasted.

Solid scooter
Great idea and definitely the best one currently on the market. The scooter function on this bag is solid and sturdy as advertised. I'm 200 lbs. and it handles my weight easily. I like the hard shell bag and the zipper works well. Small easy access side pockets for a phone, gum and wallet would be nice though. The screws that hold the top handle of the bag are weak and pop out easy and should be strengthened substantially. The bag is still new to me so it'll be interesting to see how it grows on me. It's a great concept bag for those long airport terminals.

Poorly designed and overpriced
We travel quite a bit and our youngest used the kiddietotes hard shell scooter bag for years. It held up to plenty of abuse. She grew out of that one and then we purchased this Iubest one hoping for a similar experience. Unfortunately, this scooter bag is poorly made. She has used it for less than a year and it is already malfunctioning (the top part with the handlebars is off center making it hard to steer while riding and the wheel assembly is loose and wobbly making it hard to pull when in suitcase mode). Even right out of the box, the room inside the luggage is small and the suitcase will not stand up on its own when packed. You have to lay it down if you don’t want it to tip over. This bag is way over priced and will not hold up for real travel.
