Yes this particular food is pate.

Is this 12 12.5 cans? Pic is of 5oz can

They are 12.5 cans and it comes in a case of 12. There should be a full description of what each picture is showing including can size order amount and a brief description of texture of the food such as if it is pate, chuckie, shreds or flaked. What company are you ordering from? I used Amazon.

Buyer Beware? Advertised as all natural and some have carrageenan

I didn't know that. I buy Dave's turkey and giblets wet cat food. My boys like it and the price is good.
