I used this as a base for fitting a roof fan onto my van. Very high instant adhesion on a properly clean surface. Be sure that all the joins are touching if not overlapping by a mm or so. It is pliable so you can squish these joins together. I would say make sure you have the fan base or whatever you are bonding, in the right place and position as you set it down because it grips immediately. I was really pleased with the seal this created once I screwed that fan in. I had to wait 24hrs until I applied the sikaflex bead around the edge and it rained overnight. Zero leakage! That filled me with confidence that once fully sealed, it would be seriously watertight. Highly recommend

This is the best you can buy and does the job really well provided the surfaces have been properly cleaned. Very sticky and waterproof, this is motorhome maker's go-to choice.

Purchased to renew mastic along awning rail. Surface needs to be cleaned with white spirit and then wiped with methylated spirit to ensure good bond. I put sealing strip in fridge overnight which enabled backing paper to be easily removed. The job is much easier with two people as one can hold the roll of sealing strip while the other positions it. After heavy rain it appears to have cured leak. It is now 5 years since I wrote this review and I can confirm that the mastic did its job and the caravan is still watertight along the awning rail.

Bought to re-seal the awning rail on our 1970 vintage caravan. It went on easily enough and we are confident that this will sort out the previous leaks caused by a repair done by the previous owner who used bathroom sealant! Would recommend this.

Have converted 3 vans now and always use this for the roof vents, never had a leak so I trust this a lot.

Easy to use brought this for our static caravan to trim around the floor where we have put laminate down It's not very sticking will have to by some double sided tape which I belive they should provide something for just incase.

Es perfecto y la anchura es buena para los perfiles tapa tornillos, es suficiente mente gruesa para que al apretar se quede estanco. Lo recomiendo.

Tres bon produit, pratique à utiliser Par contre attention, il n est pas blanc mais gris. Tres urgent donc pas eu le temps de le renvoyer

Utilisé pour l'étanchéité d'un lanterneau que j'ai dû changer sur une caravane. Aucun problème à signaler. Maintenant, il faut bien suivre les consignes d'utilisation et notamment bien nettoyer le support. Je recommande.
