Great
Smells a bit but strong smell disappears after a day or so. Seems good quality and value for money.

Easy to use, low odour manure based fertiliser
Do not yet know the results of using this as only just applied to soil in preparation fir vege patch. It was though easy to apply simple instructions and the odour is not strong. I’ve used a small amount an ounce in a ‘tea bag’ making a liquor to feed a struggling lemon tree over winter. Will post back on progress.

Converts poor garden soil into a really good growing medium.
Brilliant stuff. I have relied on it a lot over the years for bumper crops and garden plants in otherwise very poor soil. Hard to find through 2015 - fingers crossed things get back to normal in 2026: I'm on my last half bag.

Great fertiliser
Anyone who says this product doesn't smell has no nose. After I put some on the plants in the conservatory I was made to sleep in the shed for stinking the house out. To me it smells like up-market chocolate but to everyone else it stinks of what it is. However, once used, watered in and in the open air, the smell lasts only two days. But it gets five stars because in the end, if you want your stuff to grow, you're going to need to put sh*t on it. My main focus is herbs, for which the high N is perfect. You just know this stuff is going to be good from the colour of the water that drains out of your pots once you've put it on. And I can confirm that leaves visibly begin to go from pale green to dark green within a matter of days. My sunflowers this year had been stunted by powdery mildew. A quick spray with copper and a dose of this and they're almost back to normal.

A useful extra feed for nutrient hungry plants. My potatoes love it.
I came across this on a YouTube video on planting carrots and decided to try it. It’s like a light compost you’d buy from the gardening centre with very few lumps. So it’s easy to mix it with sand or vermiculite or whatever else you’re using and it really does help growth. It says organic so I hope it is, but that depends what the animals were faced on that produced it. It has a very strong smell so my potting shed smells a bit of wild beasts but not unbearable. It’s not cheap but you don’t need too much so it should go a long way. I always use gloves when I’m handling it, but it’s not like manure in consistency p, it’s totally dry and crumbly. Good stuff.
