Howard Leight by Honeywell Leightning L3 Shooting Earmuff (R-03318)

I purchased these earmuffs for indoor target shooting and I'm very impressed. Build quality is excellent and they're very comfortable to wear, providing a snug fit. I've worn them for extended periods of time with no discomfort. Howard Leight is a well known manufacturer and this is an excellent entry-level product, but don't forget to take that factor into account: you may have to go for a more expensive model if the NRR of 23 isn't enough for your environment. For target shooters, these earmuffs seem to offer enough protection for low-power handguns but I would still strongly recommended combining these with earplugs, which will also offer better protection against low frequencies. You only have one set of ears. To any other buyers new to this model: pull the metal wire-arms up and out of the plastic prongs to extend them. I admit that it took me a while to figure out.

Bought 2 pairs for a shooting weekend they worked amazing and a great fit for the head sizes we used them with. Would recommend these to anyoneblooking for great noise reduction for a budget price. You can pay avlot more and not get as good a product.

PROS: - Built extremely well. Feels like it could take a beating. - Reduces noise a lot, but still allows a little bit to comes through, just much much quieter. This applies to very small noises like a TV or radio, or loud noises like a vacuum cleaner or other power tool. Very good but doesn't go completely silent - Pretty compact, both on the head and when folded. Should fit nicely in a jacket pocket. - Headband not super comfortable, but fine. It only touches in two places on my head, at the top right and left, but doesn't touch in the center. After about 30 seconds I don't notice it, and it's fairly soft so it's fine. -Ear pads feel strange and plasticky at first, but they are soft and feel fine after a minute. They do get sweaty, so I will be covering the ear pads with some suede to make them nicer. They don't press on my ears at all, there's lots of space inside so it actually barely even touches my ears. - It presses on the head pretty tightly, but I assume you could bend the headband a bit so that it doesn't press so hard, although I don't know if that will damage it. - Most headphones can be placed on your head or neck when you don't want them on your hears, but not these, they squeeze far too tightly and are very uncomfortable in that position, so expect you will want to fully take them off when not wearing them.

My sons have ASD and so because of their sensory issues, these are a must. He uses them when he feels he needs them, but can still hear speech. it doesn't cancel out all noise (which is good) just muffles the very loud sounds and quiet irritating ones. Fast delivery and nicer quality than others I have purchased in the past.

These are great ear defenders. I find they are comfortable for extended use and don't seem to get too hot in use, unlike some others. I also like that the ear cups sit together when they are removed, keeping them clean inside.

I bought these to use in my office which I have to share with two incredibly noisy, elderly large fridges. The noise has been driving me mad and giving me headaches and tinnitus. These ear muffs are very reasonably priced and they have helped quite a bit. They are easily adjustable and fit comfortably and snuggly. I can still hear when someone wants to talk to me - which is helpful in an office environment and the fridge noise is muffled although not completely blocked. They have therefore achieved their purpose for me.

Comfy to wear and versatile (not too bulky). Does the job for the price paid. Used it to drown out external noise.

I have Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (it means pain caused by inflammation of the brain & spinal cord) - and noise which is merely unpleasant for healthy people is intensified & hellish for M.E. sufferers. These lightweight ear defenders are a godsend & do the job of cutting out the worst of the noise.

Compré estos cascos aislantes para "apagar" el ruido de conversaciones a mi alrededor en la oficina sin gastarme mucho (no suelo escuchar música). Si estás pensando comprarlos para eso, piénsatelo. Aunque aíslan bastante el ruido de fondo, la conversación se sigue oyendo claramente, así que no ayuda nada a concentrarte. Para concentrarte lo que necesitas es justo lo contrario: tener un sonido de fondo suave que tape las conversaciones. Yo lo que hago es usar unos auriculares pequeños (in-ear) con música suave o sonidos(...)y me pongo estos encima, con resultados mucho mejores. Cons: - Aíslan el ruido de fondo y dejan pasar las conversaciones, aunque muy atenuadas. Se entiende perfectamente lo que dice la gente a tu alrededor, así que no ayuda nada a concentrarse. - Aprietan bastante, por lo que te pueden acabar doliendo las orejas. Esto se atenúa un poco con el uso y puedes "forzar" un poco la diadema para que apriete menos. Lógicamente, a menos presión, algo menos de aislamiento. - Si llevas gafas, el aislamiento será ligeramente menor (aunque sigue siendo bueno) debido a que las patillas dejan entrar sonido. Pros: + Bien construidos, resistentes y fáciles de reparar. + Son fáciles de adaptar a tu cabeza. + Muy ligeros, súper compactos y muy fáciles de transportar en viajes. + No son aparatosos y el diseño es elegante, los puedes llevar en cualquier lado como auriculares normales, y nadie te mira raro. Si acaso, con algo de envidia ;) + Funcionan bien en el avión, quitando el ruido de los motores y atenuando las voces. + Para lo que cuestan, bien merecen la pena aunque sólo te sirvan en algunas situaciones.

A cost-effective pair of earphones that you won't be embarrassed to wear. When you're 64 your grandchildren will have these to thank that they don't need to scream at you. Highly recommended.

Belle esteticamente comode e soprattutto sottili al poligono svolgono egregiamente il loro lavoro anche sparando con calibri pesanti sempre usato tappi perché consideravo le cuffie scomode per queste ho fatto un eccezione ......... il servizio vendita e spedizione Amazon come sempre impeccabile !!

This product arrived on time as expected. I use it for ear protection at the firing range and it does an excellent job. it is very comfortable over the ears and does not interfere with eyeglasses. The noise suppression is excellent yet conversations are easily understood. Good price and good bang for the buck. Highly recommended.

I am aircraft technician. Wearing ear protection is a must due to loud sound of engine running. The size of the ear muff is small and compatible to bring along during the work. !!! But only the problem is it cannot cut the loud sound of engine run. I need to put on ear plugs in together with the Howard Leight. It is not the same quality as last time I bought it during 2016. The quality lesser than the previous one I bought. I feel disappointed.
