Blue Diamond Almonds Sweet Thai Chili Flavored Snack Nuts, 6 Ounce (Pack of 1)

I ordered these along with a few other Blue Diamond Almond flavors that arrived today and reached for these first. They're exactly what I expected. People are complaining in some reviews about these "Bold" flavors not being spicy enough or authentic enough but remember, these are the kinds of nuts sold in grocery stores to the general public. Just like most potato chips don't taste precisely like the flavor mentioned and spicy chips & such usually aren't that spicy, I wouldn't expect these to be either. They're flavored nuts. For what they are they're great. Nice and crunchy but not hard. The flavor is all around good. By "Bold" I'm thinking they intend that as in the amount of flavoring on the almonds of which there is plenty. I'm satisfied. These are a convenient, flavorful snack that I'll be enjoying for days to come. I tried reviewing the Sweet Thai Chili and the Sriracha separately but being as Amazon is what it is (WHY did you start mixing all reviews!?), consider these combined. The biggest thing is for the Sriracha I definitely wouldn't expect heat like you get from Rooster Sauce. If I wanted that, I'd go up and grab my bottle to dip these in. Blue Diamond wouldn't sell many of these if they actually made them that hot and the product would likely disappear altogether. Honestly I've got some serrano + carolina reaper sauce upstairs as well as my sriracha and neither are what I'd want while snacking on some almonds. I love heat but sometimes a nice mild flavor is pleasant and that's exactly what you get with these.

Arrived very rapidly. Great price regular size blue diamond almonds. The taste is absolutely excellent not salty a bold delicious flavor not hot. And you know how good almonds for are for you just plain healthy, extremely fresh and delicious.

I agree with the other reviews that the flavor is not truly spicy; the flavor profile is very good but where is the spice? The bad part however is that these almonds are like crack! Just can't stop eating them, lol!!! I can see how others ate an entire can worth of these because I could totally do it too! Takes a lot of willpower to put these away. :) I had to portion these almonds out in a small bowl to avoid inhaling the whole thing. The almonds I purchased were fresh - just do not expect the true Thai chili kick. There really is not much kick of any kind. These almonds are a decent deal, depending on the price, as I see that the price of these fluctuates frequently. I would not eat them as my only almond choice, as these do contain sugar and corn maltodextrin (per the list of ingredients I saw on my can), but for a break in between the lightly salted kind batches (my favorite), the spicy ones can be great. However, I will not be repurchasing these (or any other bold variety, for that matter), because I noticed that the bold flavored varieties produce recurring and pretty painful stomach cramps, unfortunately. I stopped eating the bold flavored varieties and the cramps went away. I resumed to see what happens and the intense cramps came back. :( They feel like my stomach is literally tying itself in a knot and I get this feeling multiple times a day, sometimes as often as 10 minutes apart. No other food has ever produced this symptom that I can remember. Sadly, these are a no go for me.

Loved the flavour... Perfect for snacking but I enjoyed them in my salads as well.
