If you love to cook this is what you need. The cutting knife or blade is extremely sharp and fits the bowl perfectly. Very durable been using for years and it’s by far the best and easiest way to use fresh herbs when cooking. This is a must have especially if you grow your own herbs!

We recently visited Alaska and wanted souvenirs for our family. We shopped around while there and found a lot of Ulu knives that were made in China. We wanted something from Alaska. We found this knife and loved it. It is authentic Alaskan, made there. I checked Amazon to see if it was available. It was and we decided to order it instead of having to carry home. The knives and chopping board are top-notch quality and authentic!

I was gifted by a generous friend's travels to Alaska. I chop a lot of nuts and the concave block is the best! Great gift for weddings.

The opening won’t accommodate four fingers so it is awkward to use. Quality of workmanship is good except for relatively sharp edges on the insides of the opening that rub against my fingers. This was a large. I’d suggest making it larger to fit four fingers in the hole.

It chops onions and tomatoes and any fresh herb. The rocking motion of the blade in the cup on the board makes it easy to keep the juices and the mess in the center to make it easy clean up I give it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ive purchased this item twice without regret. I bought one for myself after my SIL used hers. Works great for herbs and small items that you need minced. Easy to clean. Suggestions to purchaser: Buy a board cleaner and conditioner if you want to preserve it- DO NOT place in the dishwasher - it will crack! Clean and wipe the blade carefully- this is very very sharp!
