Read reviews and watch on YouTube. It does everything they say and sounds fantastic. Never used it on guitar yet. Bought it for vocals tbh.. very happy, that's from a man with many effects.

Flamma Character good enough to experiment withโฆ
On the initial recordings using the FV03, I heard two voices on playback, not unlike using certain plugins that are meant to higher the vocal register. After trial and error I managed to create something similar to what I was seeking: female backing vocals, but finally accomplished better results by turning the Mix to zero and just used reverb, then had to apply a bunch of filters in the DAW to achieve the sound I was looking for. The guitar input I found was of benefit only when I adding a pedal before it, but then the output signal and vocal audio are not separated, so Iโm thinking thereโs plenty of room for experimentation, but it was difficult to achieve what I wanted reasonably quickly, within a certain time frame.

A little OTT to get a good sound from
Very confusing to use, Mic mechanic 2 is so much easier to get a good sound from.

Good pedal. There are problems with the background (I don't know how to remove the excess reverb yet). But it's worth it. You will succeed if you don't sing out of tune๐. I'm singing with a band, it sounds good. The pedal greatly enhanced the sound of the arrangement

Flamma Character: voice effects only work via mic input (XLR). There is a guitar input (1/4) but as it turns out, it only can be used for those very limited reverb effects. This was kind of a major disappointment. Yes, I get it know, I should have read the name of the pedal better, but I couldn't even assume that a guitar pedal with a 1/4 input can be that limited! I wish Flamma woudn't even release this pedl like that, it's just too confusing. And as for the vocal effects, they're kind of meh. I'm a sax player, and I use a lot of guitar pedals. Was really looking forward to this one, as I play lots of heavy dub. With the exception of one effect (4th, robot), all the other ones are.. not very good, in my opinion. Maybe they'll work better for other people, but not for me. And there is latency. It's not crazy, it's manageable, but it's there.

A pretty much perfect clone of the slightly more expensive competitor. I used a lot of vocal effects that were waaay more complicated to tune in but in 90% of the scenarios, this will do everything a singer needs it to. The reverb and pitch correction is subtle and pleasant and the pedal is one of the easiest to to set up with only a few dials. I love this thing, it gave me the confidence to do back ups and even sing 2 or 3 songs in my garage band.
