Perfect for refreshing vivid color in between salon appointments
I've been using these products consistently for over 7 months now and have nothing but good things to say. The sad truth about vivid colors is that they fade fast, and we can't always be in the salon. My hair colorist recommended this product to me so I could refresh the color in between visits (and particularly, as a product that wouldn't be impossible for her to get off later). I have to tell virgin hair hopefuls that this product will NOT attach to virgin hair, so alas my roots remain blonde no matter how much product I use or how long I leave it on. But it works fantastically on hair that has already been treated. The color builds very nicely too, allowing you to experiment with different levels of color saturation if you use the product twice in a week, for example. The cleansing is definitely adequate (my hair feels clean afterwards). It also didn't affect my ability to wear my hair naturally (soft curls) or otherwise style it by altering the texture in any noticeable way. I have extremely fine hair and did not notice any residue or weighing down, which is pretty impressive imo. A lot of products do that to my hair - not this one, though! Thanks to this product I worry less about washing out the color during wash days because I can just put more color back in later. Honestly, I'd love to see Keracolor keep adding colors to their selection, because I'll be encouraged to try more colors. Particularly in the natural reds department (red is SO hard to keep, and during the 4 years I was a redhead, this line of products would have been my best friend.) FYI: I gave 3 stars for scent because I don't like the smell. It's not BAD, I just don't like it. And if you use styling products, the scent is covered easily anyway.

Use to upkeep on bleached hair!
Used gloves and put this on my bleached hair that had been originally bleached (7-9 scale) and colored pink and it was fading to yellow/orangeish. Put about 6-7 pumps through each section of my hair (split into 4 quadrants) and let it sit on my dry clean hair for about 1.5-2 hours with a shower cap. I washed my hair the night before. Turned out a beautiful striking hot pink! The color really deposits and it made my damaged hair super smooth and silky. I will say, did stain on my countertops so be careful. I will be trying to mix parts with my conditioner to lighten the color next time, but I have yet to test how it fades after each wash.

Purple is great color!
I debated between the 2 pink colors and Iโm glad I went with the darker color because it didnโt get as dark as I was expecting and didnโt have the staying power like the purple which Iโve used before. It smells great and does moisturize and leaves my hair nice and soft! I get a lot of compliments on my hair color! I purchased the purple again and I love it! I can achieve a beautiful lavender color or a great purple color if I use everyday and many shades in between! I have referred so many people to this product because itโs easy to use and you get wonderful results! My hairdresser even says he likes it!

Pink hair, dont care!
Color is amazing. Easy application. Pigment seems to last through many washes. Applied to virgin sandy blonde hair.

Love it!
The other reviews were super helpful to me in figuring out how to try it on my own hair, so I want to pass along my experience in case it helps you! The photos above are my Before & After Keracolor experience. A little about my hair: I've been dyeing it at home for decades, the color varies but usually blonde or copper. I had colored it (copper) in early Feb but have not touched it in about 3-1/2 months. Normally I dye every 3 weeks, but I took the pandemic stay-at-home opportunity to grow out some of that damage & see what the current salt/pepper ratio is on my roots. So, the top 3-4" of hair is relatively healthy dark brown with approx. 25% gray, and the rest is all very faded & damaged & dry. I did not lighten it before Keracolor as the box suggests; my goal was to have a little pop of color without damaging my freshly grown-out quarantine roots. After reading the other reviews, I decided to apply the Keracolor (hot pink) while my hair was dry, and I used A LOT. At least 1/3 of the bottle. I smeared it, combed it, thickly coated every strand I could get to, then let it sit for about 45 minutes. I didn't cover it with a shower cap or anything, and it did not drip at all. I don't have a good sense of smell, but it didn't burn my eyes or make the cats run away like the regular dye does. It was nice to leave it as long as I wanted without fear that it was going to cause damage! In the shower, I rewetted it & really smooshed it around all over my head one more time. A little goes a lot longer way when its wet! But I still feel like I made the right decision to apply it dry. Anyway, it felt a little dry after rinsing so I used a lightweight conditioner afterward, & then it felt awesome. It air-dried extremely big & frizzy, but smoothed down nicely with my curling iron. I was afraid that it wouldn't feel clean, but it feels really fantastic! The ends feel a little more dry than they do with my normal shampoo/conditioning routine, but a little daily leave-in conditioner will help. And: the color! As you can see, it adhered GREAT to the previously dyed/badly damaged hair. It really picked it up & looks super vibrant! The roots, mmmm they grabbed the color but not nearly as much. Both the dark and the gray parts picked up the same amount, which was just a little. But It doesn't look bad, I really like it! They picked up enough to make it look somewhat blended, not quite an ombre but at least it looks like I did this on purpose. Next time, I will definitely focus more on applying a lot to the roots & leaving it for a much longer time. I'm DEFINITELY sticking with it, it's showing me all kinds of versatile possibilities & I can't wait to play with it again! Will be ordering other colors too & playing with this a lot!!!

Love the shampoo, hate the dispenser
I like this shampoo-conditioner combo, but it's not without its problems. So let's start with what I like: the shampoo cleans my hair well, the conditioner leaves it very soft, it provides a nice hint of color, and a little goes a long way, so it's actually very reasonably priced if you consider the cost per use. But... the packaging is dreadful. When I first open a new bottle, I usually spend about 5 - 10 minutes trying to engage the pump, and then just give up and pull the old pump from the last bottle out of the trash. And when I get to the end of a bottle, the pump no longer works so I have to open the bottle, set the pump aside - trying not to get the dye all over the place - and pour the shampoo out into my hand, which is easier said than done because the shampoo is very thick and the bottle opening is not designed to dispense a small amount at a time. And the dye color you see in the product illustrations is not the color you will get. I have never gotten that vibrant hot pink you see on the bottle, even though my hair color is very pale blonde - it's the color your hairdresser is shooting for when they bleach your hair out to accept a dye - so I can only imagine how much worse this is for people with darker hair... Despite these issues, I do like the product, and I have been using it for years to jazz up my barely-there natural hair color. But I'd like it a whole lot more if came in a more user-friendly dispenser.

works great and got many compliments
This was my first time using a color depositing shampoo so I did not know what to expect. I have naturally straight, fine medium blonde hair and I never color it or use products. I wanted to test out coloring my hair pink for Comic Con rather than using a wig, but did not want to damage it so I tried this. It definitely worked. My first wash was a pastel pink, as the box said. I applied it to wet hair and left in for 5 minutes and rinsed. However, my roots would not take the color, nor dd the darker blond underneath, which is not the products fault so I did not dig it. Virgin roots are apparently hard to color. But I looked kinda silly, so I did it again on dry hair and really concentrated on the roots. after doing that twice, they took and it was pretty much HOT pink as the box says and I was kinda freaked out yet kinda liked it. But after a wash or two it mellowed out. slowly after a few washes it became more pastel pink, then as my blonde started to show again after maybe 8 washes, it was a pretty rose gold. i REALLY liked it and so did everyone else. I got compliments on my hair everywhere I went, people asking what I use, etc. I did it again mixing it with purple and that was fun too, but I prefer the pink. Im letting it fade now and after about 10 washes its about 90% gone. I want to try copper next. this stuff made my hair SO soft, managemable and smeleld really good. I really liked it

Works great!
Have used several colors. Loved the hot pink, but it washes out quickly and stains my towels. Had to recolor every week. But found that the purple lasts 2 weeks or more and doesn't stain my towels. Be careful as you apply, and wipe up any drops from your sink or countertop. I remove all rugs from the floor as well.

Buy this product - youโll love it
My 10 and 8 year old daughters have been begging me to color their hair. I did not want to dye their hair with salon color. Iโm so happy I bought this product. It is a simple process - add the conditioner to the hair, let sit 20 minutes, and rinse out. If the color is too little, repeat the process. A few things I learned: -add it to dry hair. It made it so much easier to apply for kids. I put on rubber gloves and applied it directly to one kids hair. For the other kid, I used hair dye brushes and painted highlights and the ends. This process worked very well. -Purple and Hot Pink had the best color coverage. I also bought light pink and it was very faint. We were happier with the hot pink. -It will stay in through shampooing with non-sulfate shampoo, but as soon as they jumped in the pool, it washed out. Next time Iโm going to have them get their wet before they get in the pool in hopes itโll stay in. -There is no issue with damage to the hair. Since there is no color processing, itโs just conditioner, it leaves the hair soft. If you have someone or yourself that wants to color their hair without the process of dyeing it, buy product. It is simple enough to use on your own, and fun to use on someone elseโs.

Curly hair approved !
Do you shampoo and mix it with your conditioner and let cook for 35/40 minutes. Be careful, each time your hair will get wet from rain or if you spray water on it like me bc I have curly hair, it will put pink on your clothes ( happened with all color conditioner) I am very satisfied with this pink condition compare to other product and price.

Good alternative to dyes
Works great. Gave my level 7 dark blonde a great deep pink hue. Instructions should definitely emphasize that you should apply it on DRY hair, at least in my case this made a huge difference in the vibrancy of the color. I also left it on for far longer than the recommended duration (30-45 minutes) but not sure how important that was to the end result. Edit: lowering a star because it seems to have problem sticking after a wash. A single rinse without any shampoo with a light reapplication of keracolor seems to have left my hair significantly faded.

Excellent Colour Refresher, But Prepare for the Price Tag
The Keracolor Clenditioner is a genuinely impressive product for anyone with coloured or vibrant dyed shades looking for simple, at-home maintenance. I have used the Copper and Hot Pink shades, and I was thrilled with the results. The Good: This product works exactly as advertised. After just one use, my shade, which was starting to look dull and faded, instantly looked refreshed, brighter, and much more vibrant, like I'd just left the salon. Crucially, it leaves my hair feeling soft, manageable, and not stripped or dry. The Drawback (The reason for 4 stars): The only thing preventing this from being a five-star review is the price. For a 355ml bottle, it is quite expensive compared to standard deep conditioners or even other colour-depositing lines. Given that most people with highly pigmented hair need to use this somewhat regularly (every 2-4 washes, depending on the shade and washing frequency), the cost of ongoing maintenance adds up quickly. You are paying a premium for the quality and the effectiveness of the colour deposit. If your hair colour is your priority and you need a high-impact, low-effort product to keep it looking salon-fresh between appointments, this Clenditioner is absolutely worth the splurge. If youโre on a tight budget, you might find yourself wishing this bottle was larger or cheaper. It's a fantastic, high-quality product, but the expense makes it a luxury item rather than a standard hair care staple.
