How can I attach this to a window opening/cat door in a window?

I just took a wire cutter and cut matching holes in the window screen and the “catio”. My cats step out through the kitchen window onto one of the enclosure shelves.

How easy is the assembly?

This is pretty easy to assemble. We painted ours to it would stand up to the weather better and added a plank of plywood to shore up the roof but the painting took the longest. It was pretty easy to assemble.

Is there any type of flooring on this? I cannot see if the mesh is across the floor or not.

NO. no flooring at all. If an animal was strong enough they could lift it. But that would be a dog. Little critters like cats, lizards or smaller snakes prb couldn't lift it. Some larger snakes prb could. I do NOT advise this to be used for birds. Its low to the ground. It IS PERFECT for cats or kittens and prb smaller dogs like Chihuahua. We put it outside on our porch for our cats to be able to go outside without any harm coming to them. There is a little door that opens but for now we just put it next to a window (with no screen) so they can come and go as they wish. We do have a cat box in it as well as water dish. We love this cage and so do they. Hope all of this helps

has anyone used this with a litter box inside? did it stay dry?

It’s dry because we “winterized” it with plexi glass around the outside!
