can it reversible to fold forward and not backwards?

Well when closed it’s flat to my shelf ( down 3 inches from shelf) and when I use it it drops down perpendicular to shelf.

Can you fold it with the screen side up facing the ceiling?

No. It folds up with the back toward the top or ceiling. When in down position there is no lock. Latter was a problem

does it lock i n the down position?

Gravity holds it down. There is no “lock”. I preferred mine in an angled position so I used a rope to lessen the downward position
