Great quality
I am a bit of maniac when it comes to tools. I'm a mechanical engineer. They are magnetic... That means it is not 316 or 304 stainless. Only time will tell if they rust. What I can say is that the tip is really sharp and its all one single piece, not an inserted tip. The loop on the other side is an insert... it feels like hardened ss wire. I really like the soft silicon cover on the sharp end, it holds on really well. The twiser is really well made. The tips alling perfectly. They make contact right at the tip like you want them to... And dont misalling under pressure. Very well made. I also like the small plastic case. Beware that nothing else will fit, aside from the two tools provided. You can get more tools for the same amount of money. I made the bet that less means more quality... And it paid off.

Made sturdy and well
I suffer from mostly whiteheads and a few papule and cystic pimples here and there. I love this extractor because it's made really sturdy. I've had ones in the past where the loop bent when I pressed because it was made so thin, but that isn't the case at all with this one. The pointed end is super sharp and excellent at opening the papule and cystic pimples before extracting. The tweezers are sharp as well and I use them upside down to remove deadskin flakes (I have super dry skin). My husband also uses the pointed side to reove ingrown hairs on his face after shaving. In the description, it says the case is tin but it's actually plastic, just fyi. With that being said, I think the carrying case is perfect due to its small design - it's about the size of a large fingernail file - and I can just toss it in my purse.

Best Acne Removal Tools
I love this product so much I have bought two of them! (One for my house and one for my guest house). I've had mine for 6 years and still use it on a weekly basis. If you suffer from acne, cysts, blackheads, whiteheads, ingrown hairs, etc. this is a must buy. They are very easy to use and clean. I find them very effective at getting the job although be gentle especially if you have sensitive skin like me. You don't want to constantly damage it. My only con would be to not drop them because it will bend the tweezers or the needle point and they won't be as effective anymore.

I replace when I feel itโs time from extended use
Love this set, better than using your fingers.

Must have for ingrown hairs
Perfect little kit for pimple poppers. Easy to disinfect and stays clean in its plastic case. I've used it on splinters, and (gently!) to extract blackheads and a small cyst. The tweezer tips are sharp enough to dig for ingrown hairs with little damage to surrounding skin, and the curved part grippy enough to pluck the hair out without switching tools. It works similarly well for splinters, even glass.

Wish I had these 30 years ago
These tools are great! I just whisk them blackheads away! I perform self surgery all the time saving me $900/visit to the dermatologist! Obamacare can suck it!

The tweezers are fantastic, the rest of the tools not so much
Only in the world of internet reviews can I state without too much shame that I lost my favorite comedone extractor and set about hunting for a new one. As a 43 year old with combination skin and acne, I have a full face routine I do at home to save me money and combat my skin disasters the best I can. A big part of this routine is described below, but one of the most important tools is the extractor. I was intrigued by the blackhead tweezers, which you use by applying pressure to the comedone and pulling up with the tweezer end. The comedone loop on the other end didn't work at all. I would highly recommend the tweezers, I just wouldn't by a kit with other tools that don't work well. You can buy this tweezer design as a separate item, and this is what I would do next time. Here's how I use the blackhead tweezers extractor in my facial routine: -Wash face - I like to use my Clarisonic brush with an AHA/BHA cleanser from Skin Medica. There are definitely other options that are cheaper, and when I am out of this stuff, I just use Cetaphil cleanser instead. -Steam my face with a steamer or use a warm washcloth to open pores for 3-4 minutes. -Gently use extractor to clear problem comedones - I can simply put pressure on the comedone with the tweezers and then pull out the sebum plug (gross, gross and gross, but strangely satisfying to clean up my face) -Apply retinol or serum of choice -Moisturize I do this at night, and as bad as my skin can be, this is an important tool in my arsenal!

Highly reccommend! Easy to use!
This set is amazing! I have and have used about every form of tweezer that is on the market but these WORK. Easily gets blackheads and white heads out without digging into your skin and causing a slew of other problems / marks in the process! And they work wonders at removing splinters too! What would normally be an all night event removing splinters from my husbands hands took just minutes because they grasped the splinter the first time every time! No digging required! I will be purchasing another set for him to keep at work for Christmas and will probably grab a few for stocking stuffers!
