This lantern is the smallest lantern I have owned. It is lightweight and packs a bright light that illuminated the whole tent. The solar panel is a high quality and allows for charging even in low light conditions. There were a lot of thunderstorms while we were out backpacking and the light still maintained a charge the whole 4-day trip with hours of use. Before we left we fully charged the lantern with the included charging cable and we probably could have made it the whole trip without ever using the included solar panel. The light offers different levels of brightness, so you don’t blind yourself in the tent, because this thing gets bright! Most of these backpacking lanterns don’t offer a way to check the power level on the unit, but this lantern has a battery indicator. I would love to have something they could do to improve this product, but there is nothing. It is lightweight, bright, long battery, and charges by solar power or USB cable. I highly recommend this lantern for any ultralight backpacker.

Bought one in 2022? and was pleased with it so I purchased another one 3/2026. Had what I thought was a problem charging it because the light wouldn't come one. But, I found that holding the button for a few seconds solved the problem. Two things I like about this are: 1. the light is gentle but efficient to light a small room w/o the harsh glare of many of the emergency lights sold. 2. A charging cord was included when most electronics don't include one and you have to weed through a growing assortment in storage drawer to find when that's a fit.

Light volume is adequate and adjustable and charge lasts long enough. Light will solar charge even on cloudy days or in room light but stronger light is better/faster. A red LED lights up to show when it is charging. Stores compactly in its package and DOESN'T need batteries. A nylon storage pouch would be a welcome improvement though. The fact that it doesn't need batteries gives this light some advantages and disadvantages. If stored it should be charged every 3-4 months. It can be charged with included 12" micro USB cord. Can float in a pool so good water resistance. I think it would be great for camping, overnight hiking, as emergency light when power goes out to illuminate a small room. package weight is 5.8 ounces/164 grams. That could be reduced slightly by removing some material in package. So on a full charge at 75 lumens it lasts 3-5 hours, at 50 lumens 6-8, 25 lumens 12-14, and 12 lumens 18-24 hours. As with most things longevity will probably depend on care and abuse. Made in China and does have a prop 65 warning for cancer and reproductive harm so I will not get too cuddly with it. I love ours and plan to get more.

It's hard to rate because I don't use all the time but it's a good idea that I'm looking forward to use more often. It seems impossibly small and compact but puts out a lot of light.

Absolutely love this little gadget. I bought this for camping, but with hurricane season coming to the south I will definitely keep this in my night stand in ass we loose power this hurricane season. It packs down so small and you can charge it using a c-port as well as by solar. It provides bright light and depending on how high you want to hang it, it can really throw off a good amount of light!

These work as described. The solar panel is protected from moisture. They light up pretty well and you can dim down if you want to. I haven't had to use them other than the initial test when I got them. You can adjust the straps for hanging or holding. They easily open fully plus you can blow up more if you want. It's easy to collapse them back down to their original size. They charge easily in the sun or in the outlet.

Used at home and on camping trips. Mainly on lower brightness which helps to extend battery life. Easily recharges during a sunny summer day covering battery used the night before so very little worry that you will need to top it up with USB input during a short trip. But the option is always there if you use it intensively/don't go outdoors for a day/it's very cloudy/use it at home. Very useful lighting up the area around the campfire and also to take on midnight trips to toilets. Could be used as a low brightness nightlight if required although I didn't use it this way myself. Being waterproof suits all typical camping conditions and the very high resistance to damage from dropping it because it is inflated are great bonuses.

Hab die Lampe stets beim Campen und längeren Radtourwn mit draußenschlafen dabei und bin sehr zufrieden. Die Solarzelle braucht eine Weile zum Aufladen, aber wenn Sie nicht durchgängig brennt, dann reicht es locker. Leicht zu verstauen und einfach zu bedienen.

I can’t RAVE about these solar lights enough. Ridiculously compact and lightweight. Pull it out of the pouch and blow it up. The material is thick and you can tell it’s high quality and not going to puncture easily. The light is bright (I took a picture in my living room in complete darkness with only this latern on it the corner) There are different brightnesses and even a flashing emergency mode. This particular one is the smallest size it comes in and does not have a phone charger but I also have the bigger sizes with the chargers and I loved them so much I came back for more. The light lasts for hours and hours before it needs recharging and they can either be plugged in or solar to recharge. I’ve also used the phone charger on my bigger models (which by the way are even brighter than this one…) and the chargers work perfectly. I have these lights stashed in emergency “grab-and-go” bags as well as in my house for power outages and I keep one in my car for emergencies. Also this things is completely waterproof! Take it camping… it gets wet in the rain… no big deal! I’ve been telling all my coworkers about them and they have all rushed to get these as well. They really work as great as the advertising says. I’m not sure where you live but where I am, we are getting more and more severe weather, rain/wind storms and more frequent power outages. So if you are looking for emergency lighting… these are the ones you want. Don’t get a knockoff brand… these are 1000% worth the price.
