Auto Open Water Repellent Stick Umbrella with Classic Wood J Hook Handle

I purchased this umbrella for its classic look. The umbrella is nice and solid. It's large enough to protect your front and back. It's easy to open and close. The handle is larger than I thought, but I have small hands. It also has a lifetime warranty.

Rarely write reviews unless an exceptional product. Used for 2 years as walking stick, sunshade, wind block and yes even rain while backpacking all spring, summer, fall. It is made of strong wood so not a lightening conductor like metal ones. It has been tied onto llamas, goats and my backpack and had the noonie beat out of it. Make a cover for it with pipe insulation to help protect the fabric from sharp brush and tree branches and it will last a long time with hard use. The only thing it could not survive was baby goats (my fault). So I highly recommend. And the beige color is great camouflage (camera-flage) for insensitive, voyeuristic jerks and their cell phones who feel they have the right to invade your privacy just because you happen to have cool looking fur pals and blast your face all over the internet without your permission to all their fake friends. So not cool!

I use this everyday on rainy walks. The look and feel of the handle is perfect. The colors are sleek. I haven't tried it yet on a windy stormy day, but for my particular uses I have enjoyed it. One thing I would change is that the clasp should have direction as to where it's supposed to clip into. Sometimes I have a little trouble getting it to close. Size is large enough for 1 person comfortably.

Great umbrella and really a lot of fun. I love the rain. The push button open is great. Makes one feel like a super hero after leaving the grocery store.It is long enough and stylish enough and provide that perfect pitch of rain falling on a well made brolly. It's big enough for you and two bags all of which will stay nice in dry until you get into your office. No wet hair day here. The only drawback is that I hoping for a lighter color as shown on the photo. It was a dark tan. It works. I'm happy....and it's raining.

So I've been the guy who never seems to buy or own anything seasonal - however, this year after accepting another hand me down umbrella from a coworker where half the supports were broken I decided I needed to change that. This umbrella is frankly awesome for the price. Not only is it large, lightweight, and sturdy. It looks damn good. If you are in the market for an expensive umbrella that you might actually make you feel somewhat fashionable - this is a no brainer.

Quality product. I didn't love the color I got (tan) but it's as pictured. I just got it since I lost too many of the black ones and couldn't find them but I would probably go back to black. It's not huge but just the right size for an adult. It's not too heavy. Easy to use or close.

I have had this Totes umbrella for a little over three years, and I’m still happy with it. I got the khaki beige because I need something not just for frequent storms, but most particularly for sweltering summer sun. It has also held up to not-so-gentle handling and storage. It opens smoothly and quickly. It doesn’t close automatically, but it’s easy to do. It mostly lives in my car—thrown into the floor in back, dropped into the storage compartment, or wedged between my door and the seat. I see from the reviews that some people have been disappointed, but most reviewers seem pretty happy with it. Best of all, it was not an investment, so if it ends up lost or broken, it can be replaced.
