Thanks for your interest. It is not a remote control snake. If you turn switch on, the tongue moves, the eyes do something and it slithers pretty fast. Utube does have videos on it to show it if interested. Thanks

How do you put the batteries in????

On the back of it neck, in-between orange marks, there is a small button to push, and the head comes off. Then un-screw the screw to put the batteries in

Would this have difficulty running on carpet?

Will not run on carpet...... the tiny little wheels only stick out of the body by 1/8 of inch.

No great at all, to start thought was ok as my toddler seemed to love it but the thing that makes the snake turn stopped working so of course upset toddler saying snake over and over - so have lost my sanity because of this toy- way over priced and definitely not value for money, it’s quiet noisy but that doesn’t really matter.
