So I started my weight loss journey (again) and when the scales stopped giving me positive feedback I turned to the tape measure and soon got my motivation back. The app is also brilliant at logging your measurements and giving your results

As others have said, this doesnt automatically update within the app with the measurements. You still have to type them in, so because of this, i deleted the app! You do not need the app to use the tape measure. Tape measure itself is ok, seems to be accurate. Can be quite fiddly if you are doing your measurements on your own. Ive only used it once so far so thats based on my initial use of it.

This is really easy to use and I look forward to seeing how it tracks my weekly measurements in the accompanying app.

Its ok, still no good when solo

I’m a personal trainer and body transformation coach and I’ve been using the Slimpal smart tape with my clients, who absolute love the ease of use. Clients can easily swap between inches and centimetres easily, the smart tape connects in with the Slimpal app via bluetooth and makes data entry very speedy. I regularly recommend both the smart tape and smart scales to new clients joining my program and would highly recommend to anyone considering purchasing the set.

It works well, except for the Bluetooth connection to the app, which is flakey as hell. 95% of the time it connects, opens the neck measurement the immediately disconnects before giving a reading. Half hour of messing around and you might be lucky to take a measurement. Cannot recommend this item at all.

From ordering to delivery the service was amazing. With me calorie counting and weight lifting it’s great to keep up with inches lost. This device is genius I HIGHLY recommend. Very easy to use and very accurate. Don’t walk run go buy now!

Es una cinta métrica inteligente muy fácil de usar. La compré después de adquirir la báscula de la misma marca, pues me dí cuenta que al bajar la aplicación se podía añadir en ella la cinta con lo cual los resultados todavía eran más precisos al incorporar con ella las medidas de tu cuerpo. Funciona perfectamente con la aplicación que te bajas fácilmente al escanear el código QR del manual de instrucciones. A través de esta aplicación haces un seguimiento de los cambios que tu cuerpo experimenta sobre todo si estás siguiendo cualquier tipo de dieta, tanto de pérdida como de aumento de peso. Te proporciona las medidas corporales ( cintura, glúteos, abdomen, pecho, muslos, brazos, cuello, hombros , pantorrillas…) y también las proporciones corporales (relación cintura-cadera, relación pecho-cadera, relación cintura-pecho), además te calcula la grasa corporal. A través de la aplicación se puede cambiar la unidad de medida de pulgadas a centímetros y viceversa pero también puede hacerse con el botón M de la misma cinta. La aplicación permite que la cinta la utilice toda la familia, pues se pueden añadir tantos usuarios como se quiera y que cada uno lleve su propio seguimiento simplemente metiéndose en su perfil. El manual de instrucciones no viene muy detallado aunque bien es cierto que el funcionamiento de la cinta no es complicado, a mí particularmente me costó descubrir como se borraba la pantalla para empezar a medir de nuevo, es muy simple, solo es necesario presionar el botón de encendido y la M a la vez. Un pequeño inconveniente es que la cinta es un poquito estrecha, no es ningún problema, pero a mí particularmente no me importaría que tuviese dos o tres milímetros más. Las instrucciones también vi que eran algo escasas y no se entendían del todo bien en varios aspectos, pero era una buena ayuda aun así.

This is the coolest tool! Once I figured out how to use it it’s invaluable when trying to lose belly fat but working out and gaining muscle can make losing actual pounds hard but this lets you see it clearly in inches. They way it’s made to let you push the other side of tape measure into the devise then a button to take out the slack makes it easy to measure body parts that you normally can’t with a regular tape measure. And if there’s an area that you wouldn’t even be able to see the measurements, it auto populates on the app and you just save it. Also saves the date and charts it. Very cool tool.
