Wrench won't work on all models
Guess depends what mod. Heater you have wrench doesn't work on mine. Plugs were fine and some tape is good.

Wrong tool for me, probably great for what it was designed for
Probably works great for what it’s designed for. But don’t assume that with two different sizes of hex-head that it is design for YOUR RV water heater. I’ve got a Suburban water heater in my camper, and I initially assumed it wasn’t fitting on the drain plug because of positioning, but after a few minutes of frustration, it became obvious that the hex head on my drain plug is even bigger than the two this is designed for. On a positive note, $8 is still pretty reasonable. I’ve definitely spent way more on the wrong tool for a job before.

Makes winterizing and decalsifying an RV water heater easy
Like that this product makes it easy to remove or tighten the water heater plug on your RV with the wrench designed to work in tight spaces . The plugs replace the original one and comes with the teflon tape to guarantee a leak free installation. Great value and durability for this product. Would buy again but will probably never damage the head of the plug with the wrench so should not need a replacement anytime soon.

Works on a Dometic/Atwood RV water heater
My travel trailer, a Coachmen Freedom Express 192RBS, came with a Dometic/Atwood hot water heater. The design layout of the hot water heater is really crummy in that it makes it really hard to access the drain plug to remove the water from the tank at the end of the season. The 15/16" drain plug is blocked by other associated hardware, making traditional wrenches unable to access the plug. Even with this wrench it was initially hard to turn the plug. With the angled design I was able to get it to the plug, but at first I could only turn the plug a few degrees. I thought I would be forced to make many micro-turns to get the plug unscrewed, however I discovered that by angling the wrench even more, so that the bottom part of the wrench was placed on the rear of the plug and the top on the outer side, I could get the wrench past the main obstruction and remove the plug faster. Four stars for the wrench. The replacement plugs I didn't use nor review. They look pretty cheap though, so if my OEM plug wears out I'll almost certainly buy that separately. The Teflon tape for the threads is a nice touch; that helps prevent leaking once the plug is reinstalled in the spring. As with all plumber's tape, however, make sure you wrap it around the threads in the proper direction so as the plug is screwed in, the end of the tape isn't being unwound by the direction of rotation.

Good tool and good delivery.
Tool works good in the tight area of my RV hot water tank. And a good review for Amazon. The order was lost in delivery but Amazon got the replacement in good time. So thanks to them as well.

"It's that crazy wrench that you shouldn't need for winterizing, but you do"
Works. The plug (or cap) in the hot water heater of many RVs is difficult to remove, and the size of the cap is larger than most socket sets. Fortunately, these exist and can reach through the typical obstructions between you and getting the cap off for the winter, and re-tightening it in the summer. Be advised that this only has *male* plugs, not the female *cap* required by some Dometic hot water heaters.

Works great
This works, my plug is very hard to access, this is the only way I can tighten or loosen it, even with this its tough but works

Perfect fit
Item arrived next day, fit perfect. Tool works but a bit awkward to use on our particular water heater due to where it’s located. We have a socket we use and will keep the tool with the spare plug in case it’s ever needed.
