Look mom one hand!
Bilstein always reliable for a quality part to improve your ride. I had replaced the 4 shocks a few years ago yet neglected to replace the steering dampener. My 99 F350 4x4 I always just blamed its size, suspension and weight as the reason why it was just rough and oversteered regularly even with new tires and alignment. Ball joints and other various parts new as well. So recently I decided to swap out the dampener and itโs nice when any mod or fix is immediately noticeable. The old dampener had lost all its rebound n comparison and was definitely worn out seeing signs of leakage. On the test drive constant re correcting was gone, no more grabbing rough roads and tracking all over the road. Simple one hand driving felt safe again. Plus removal and install time under 15 minutes. Most of that wait was just letting a squirt of Blaster sit for a few minutes. Second truck Iโve owned that has greatly benefited from Bilsteins.

Great replacement
Put this on a 2001 F350 with a 2โ leveling kit and 35โ tires. Steering is great with this. No issues.

High Quality worth the extra money
Great product and perfect fit for my 2002 F250 4x4, made a big difference over the worn out oem part. Easy installation and improved handling.

Perfect for a Heavy Truck.
I keep saying these things are so expensive, but continue to hear they are worth it. I purchased the Bilstein Steering stabilizer for my Ford Excursion. It seems to be doing a good job for the past week. All the other brands I have tried in the past always end up leaking after a year. Some of the reviews for this stabilizer complain that it's is pressurized and causes there vehicle to drift to the left. It is pressurized coming out of the box. For my application, this made no difference in where the truck wanted to go. Straight down the road with no problems. I have passed over the Bilstein in the past for my vehicles just due to the cost. A few months ago I installed front and rear on a Ford Ranger, they made such a difference on that little truck. When my Ford Excursion needed new shocks the Bilsteins were contenders. The cost is high, but the performance is worth it. Keeping a 9500lb. vehicle in check is a quite a chore for any shock. If your on the fence, get this brand.

Good fit
Perfect fit on my 2001 f250. Made a lot of difference on my steering as it is a pressurized shock.

Does not fit 2000 f-250 super duty 4wd
Does Not fit 2000 F-250 super duty xlt 4wd, I currently have a stock setup and tires on my truck and there wasnt enough movement in this stabilizer to accomodate the stock setup. (even though this is what the bilstein website calls out). The quality looked nice but I dont want a steering damper to be the limiting factor in my turn radius.

Fit my 1999 4x4 f350 Dana 60
Bolted right up to my 1999 f350 4x4. My truck has a Dana 60 and this stabilizer fit great. I turned the wheels all the way to the right. Then took the stablizer to about a 1/4 inch from bottoming out and it allows for a full range of motion left to right. Iโve heard they are concerns that gas stabilizers push the steering to the left but this unit doesnโt seem to move anything even when the truck is on my lift and wheels freely suspended.

Truck steering was super sloppy thought about buying a new steering box bit ...
Bought this for my 2001 f350 7.3l along with the Rancho RS5542 Steering Stabilizer Bracket Kit because my truck for some reason did not have a bracket. Truck steering was super sloppy thought about buying a new steering box bit thought I would try this first, and wow noticeable truck doesn't wonder anymore and no bump steer love it. Would recommend

Working well!
I ordered this to replace the same damper that was already on my '04 F350 while troubleshooting some issues. Ended up the damper on the truck was still in good working order. I don't know when it was installed but it looked like it had been on there for quite a while, so it must be a well made part!

Steering shock.
2000 f350. Made it whole new truck to drive. Front end was tight but still wandered around. This made it a whole lot better.
