battery for monitor died - this cable replaced it, problem solved, flawless.
ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQ HDR My monitor started to turn on, flashed the ASUS logo, then immediately turned black. The screen went black, instantly restarted both monitor screens, then repeated the same over and over. It has 2.0A instead of the original 1.5A, so it's an upgrade, without a downside, and it fixed my problem. This cable saved me hundreds on replacing my monitor. Very pleased! Delivery was fast and reliable.

My Display (VG27AQ1A): 1440x2560 in 27", 170 Hz [External] would not switch on, it looked like it was flickering. I narrowed it down to the power box. This replacement works perfectly. Ordered in the evening was with me by lunch next day. Very happy.

Died within 6 months
Worked as a replacement for only 6 months before dying, similar to a previous one. Unfortunately, this seems to be a common problem with this particular power adapter and I would recommend changing whatever you're using, rather than buying another AC adapter, otherwise you'll end up having to replace it every half a year or so.,

Fixed my broken ASUS VG27AQ
I bought this power adaptor to replace the one that came with my Asus TUF Gaming VG27AQ. The VG27AQ monitor was purchased in February 2021 and around the start of 2024 it started struggling to boot up, taking 10-15 minutes to get past the boot screen and eventually just getting stuck mid way through the boot sequence and restarting. Had a Google around and found some people suggesting it could be a power supply issue so ordered this adaptor to see if it would resolve the problem. As soon as I plugged everything in and turned it on the monitor booted up instantly and has worked perfectly since then. The adaptor seems to have some subtle differences to the original one (especially the cable which seems to be a bit thicker) so I assume this is a refined version that will hopefully last a bit longer than the original.
