These BIC mechanical pencils are pretty much what you expect — simple, low cst, and they work. Lead comes out smooth, doesn’t break easy unless you press like way too hard. The eraser actually erases clean without smudging much, which is nice. I keep a a coupel in my backpack for school and another in my desk. Pros: Writes smooth and consistant Eraser works better than most cheap ones Good value for the amount you get Comfortable grip for long writing sessions Nice color variety Cons: Plastic feels a bit light and cheap Not refillable with extra erasers (have to replace whole pencil) Overall, very solid everyday pencil, always gets the job done.

These pencils work really well. I bought my son paper mate ones at the beginning of the school year and they all broke when he would use the eraser. He askd me to purchase these. He said they work very well and are sturdy. He said they do not break when you use the eraser. It was definitely worthe the purchase and a great value for themoney.

We've all used these mechanical pencils before-they work really well and write smoothly, as long as you don't use too much lead at once. They don't smear, and the erasers are surprisingly good. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for an affordable mechanical pencil. They may not last very long, but they're still reliable.
