99 super duty
I ordered this guage after I replaced my transmission cooler lines to watch them temps to make sure everything was cooling right. My first order came with all the wiring and the probe but no guage. I submitted a return and they shipped out a new guage the same day no questions asked. Just have to drop the old on off at ups and send it back. I put this on my 99 f250 superduty with the 4r100 transmission. Was easy to install as long as you have some knowledge with wiring. The wires are a little skimpy but for the price it's really nice. Probe screwed right into the test port on the transmission. Easy to read instructions. Nice and bright during the day. Haven't tested it at night yet but I have it hooked up through my dimmer switch so hopefully it isn't to bright. Overall very nice and responsive. Time will tell how long this guage last but for now I love it

follow install instructions
good gauge, important to follow instructions for separate ground. This was a replacement for previously installed by pro trans shop that didn't wire the separate ground correctly so new gauge may not have been needed but works great now.

Great choice - easy install
Easy install , looks good and am very happy that I have it. Double check and make sure you know if you will need a pot extension , I called glow and they had the answer for me. update: worked for 2 days and now all it does is blink. They wont even send a replacement unless I send this in first. I have to rip it all out just to put it all back in so its like doing it twice. Im done with glowstick, going with a different brand. Update again: as I began to remove the unit to send back for refund I found that the cable had burned , possibly made contact with a exhaust pipe. I cut out the bad section, spliced the wires back together and placed a protective non metallic flame retardant conduit over the wire. Everything works again and I recommend this product once again. Just be careful to not place lines where they can get burned .

The best gauge on the market for transmission temperature
Amazing product. Easy to install especially with the wiring included. The sensor fits the Derale transmission pan. I love the green light and digital reading. Highly recommended!

Superb quality
I had to install a "tee" in the hot line from the transmission to the cooler because my 2007 Highlander has an internal sender which operates a light. This was easy, and the gauge worked superbly. There are no aftermarket pods for a Highlander so I had to improvise when it came to mounting the gauge - settled with a temporary mount. I had to tow a 4000 lb trailer 1000 miles so I wanted to keep an eye on the transmission temperature, and this gauge worked fine, was easy to read while driving even at night. Disconnected and removed the gauge following the trip.

Working well so far to monitor transmission temps in my 2003 F-150.
I wanted a gauge to monitor my transmission temps when towing our camper with my 2003 F-150 with the 4R70W 4-speed automatic. It's simple to install the sensor by removing the factory plug (for the test port) on the driver's side of the transmission and threading in the new sensor, which has the same 1/8" NPT threads. I routed the wiring into the cab via the grommet for the e-brake cable, which beneath the plastic door sill on the drivers side. Note that the sender's wires may be too short and will need to be extended depending on where you mount the gauge. I used the wiring to my aftermarket Pioneer head unit to get 12V ignition, battery, illumination, and ground for the gauge, which I located on the left side of the radio. I didn't want to spend an extra $50 for an A-pillar pod so I used the shroud that was included with gauge and mounted it in one of the HVAC vents. It looks good, and the vent actually still functions and pivots. (see picture) OK, so full disclosure. Before this purchase I've been a big Autometer fan. I've bought several of their gauges and have never had one failure. The reason I didn't buy another is this is a budget build deal with this truck, and Autometer's 270 sweep gauges (their 90 deg sweep ones are harder to read IMO) are not cheap. Yeah, I know you get what you pay for, but sometimes the budget is a deciding factor. So....this gauge is easy to reads and works perfectly, at least thus far. I will have to admit that I didn't notice that "Max Tow" is actually a Glow Shift product before I received it. Things change, and I'm hoping Glow Shift's quality is one of them because about 10 years ago my buddy installed two of their products in his car and they lasted less than a year. I'll report back if things go south with the quality. Otherwise, I can see me purchasing a couple more of these to match this once because I really like the way it looks.

Nice looking guage
I bought this guage to monitor transmission fluid temps when towing a 4300 lb boat with my 2003 Ford Explorer. I bought a Trick Flow deep trans pan from Summit Racing (sorry Amazon, you didn't stock it !) and installed that too. I had a friend tap a 1/8 NPT port (for the temp sensor) on the rear side of the pan. I mounted this guage (alongside a Max Tow engine oil temp guage) at the forward end of the console. (see picture) The temperature when towing on 95 degree days stays between 160-1185 degrees. The 5 speed trannys in the Exploders are known to overheat. Fluid is cooled by 3 ways: hot fluid out to factory cooler, then to a B & M auxiliary cooler, and then to the deep sump Trick Flow pan. So far, so good. No issues. Some reviewers said the guages are bright. Yes, they are, but being mounted at the forward part of the console keeps the light down low enough so that it doesn't interfere with night time driving. All in all, great guage and Amazons great price.

Seems to work as described.
I added this to my Jeep Cherokee. I wired it into the harness I already had for my after marked radio it has all the connections you need right there. I picked this one because of the weather tight connection at the sensor and that you only need to tap into 1 ground total instead of 1 ground for the gauge and one for the sensor like most others. Also the additional digital display makes it easier to read at a glance.
