The best couscous that I’ve found in the US.

While I really like this couscous, I didn't like the way it was shipped. It came in an unpadded thin plastic mailer. The plastic jar was dented and the lid cracked and broken. Luckily, the seal wasn't broken, so the couscous was okay to use. I understand not wanting to use cardboard boxes for everything, but some things need to be put in a box so it arrives undamaged.

Better price than grocery store and flavorful too!

This stuff is a lifesaver for easy and fast meals. With a mix of spices and different veggies, it's a limitless canvas that comes together with basically no effort at all. I have dumped it, water, oil, spices, and veg into a bowl and microwaved it for like 5 minutes for instant dinner more times than I can count. Affordable, lasts forever, has more protein than you'd expect, what's not to like.

I used to buy the RiceSelect Couscous in my local supermarket but they stopped carrying it (despite annoyingly continuing to carry a wide range of other RiceSelect products). I was happy to find it on Amazon at a good price, and continue to make my "bachelor chow" and other dishes with it at least once a week. :-) I like the fact that it's a super-simple 1:1 measure of water to couscous, and all I have to do is boil the water, drop in the couscous, then cover the pot and set it off to the side for a few minutes. Highly recommend! (Hint for a really fast dinner: Drop frozen veggies into the water when you start heating it, then drain a can of chicken or tuna on top of the couscous as it firms up & let sit covered for about 5 minutes. Season and enjoy!)

Good quality. I grind it into a powder to make a German dumpling soup. Not sure if its a fair price.
