No cord and no gas - yippee!!
I still need to test noise level (w/ my neighbors) but so far so good. Does the job and I am using the batteries that came with my Greenworks 2 x 24V (48V) 21" Brushless Self-Propelled Mower, (4) 4Ah USB Batteries will be monitoring the string feed given feedback from other buyers.

Easy to use - assembly was a little trying
Giving it 5 stars for ease of use, quality. Buying it without the 24V battery (already have one for another Greenworks product) made the price very attractive! After 34 years of a corded trimmer I thought I deserved something lightweight and cord free ;) Assembly was mostly ok, but putting the shafts together required some ooomph (I used rubber gloves for a better grip). Also, the manual should tell you to throw away the rubber thingies that are evidently just for packaging and shipment.

Great little weed wacker
Purchased this online because it’s the only place to find just the weed whacker without the extra cost of charger and battery. (I already had those from my lawn mower purchase) it works great for our small yard and I even found similar string replacements on amazon! You have to re-string the spool yourself which is a pain, though. The trimmer lasts a long time on one 24v batter6 and has lots of power to do tall grass! Only downside so far was the lack of proper string replacement cartridges.
