Review: Classic Marshall vibe and more! - I bought the Hot Plexi simply because it wasn't expensive and I was looking to experiment with a few budget pedals. I'm really glad I did! On it's own, with a boost, or blended with a t.c. electronic Dark Matter it's a great pedal! It works great alone, as an OD or distortion. It's not noisy, looks great, fits easily on my board etc, etc... I can't say anything bad about this thing! I just spent the last hour playing with it, and plan on getting back in a few minutes. If you think you'd like it, you probably will. I get tones from blues rock, classic rock to metal. Best $18 pedal I've ever seen!

This pedal and the Joyo Hot Plexi are very similar in design (the circuit, not the enclosure). Do a search for this video title on YT; "Joyo Hot Plexi Mod, It can actually hit unity volume now" ; and learn how to fix it.

I bought the Hot Plexi simply because it wasn't expensive and I was looking to experiment with a few budget pedals. I'm really glad I did! On it's own, with a boost, or blended with a t.c. electronic Dark Matter it's a great pedal! It works great alone, as an OD or distortion.
