Shibari Premium Water-Based Lubricant, Personal Lube for Women, Men, and Couples (16 Fl Oz (Pack of 1), Water-Based)

This is probably one of best lubricants I have used to date, and I have tried many different types. It's silky smooth and water based, so it washes off easily. I do not have to apply more than one time, because it works so well. I usually apply about the size of a dime. Honestly, I've grown accustomed to lubricant being a sticky mess after all the fun is over. That is not the case with Shibari, as it does not leave a sticky residue. It is VERY smooth and feels great overall. I think it is better than Astroglide, my former #1 in pretty much all ways. If you're on the fence about trying something, give this a chance. It's a great lubricant that won't let you down. Both me and my SO are very happy that we chose this. Also, the price is great.

Great product. Not greasy and very effective

Another reviewer writes a less favorable review, and also mentions the positive reviews are because of an offer from the seller for a free bottle in return for a favorable review. Though it is true the seller offers a free bottle, which I appreciate (!), I disagree that it is the reason for all the positive reviews. Free bottle or not, most people will not write a positive review if the product stinks. And the seller's offer merely asks whether the buyer has had success with the product and "if so" to write a review for another free bottle. It is their way of saying thanks and in my book, smart marketing! I have no problem with that at all! And it's a bonus for me, as I DO like the product and my review is accurate based on MY experience with it and the many other products I've tried in the past. As my dad always said: Son, that's why there's chocolate AND vanilla. Not everyone will agree, but I've tried more than several lubricants and for the money, I don't think there is a better one. This is cost effective and works as advertised and much better than most, so what more can one ask? No, it's not sticky, is long lasting, thin, yet effective. I have found many water-based lubricants just don't do what they are supposed to do....lubricate! They are watery and you have to continually reapply, only to get frustrated and toss it back in the drawer (or the trash!). Not this one! It only takes a little to go a long way and the lubricant is there, so it lasts! And as it is water based, it is safe for latex and other materials, and easy to clean up after, washing away with little effort. I'm very happy to have found this gem and will keep on using it. One note worth mentioning: my bottle says "for women's soft skin", but I am definitely not a woman and found it works well for both my partner and I. My advice? Buy it and quit looking. You won't be sorry.

I am very finicky when I choose lubrication for my personal use. I hate to admit I have tried so many different type over the past decade, but my absolute favoriteis the hybrid gold from wet I believe. This was a first time trying shibari and for the most part I have no complaints. The consistency is more on the thin side, silky-slippery, glides smooth with hand and toys. The part I like most about this one is that it's not sticky, cleaning up doesn't take so much effort. Definitely worth trying again.

The package arrived on time but the bottom of the plastic bottle had a crack in it, probably a mfg defect. Much of the contents leaked out which Amazon refunded, we were happy with that. The product we were able to use is wonderful. Just what I want in a water based lube. I usually use this when we want a quickie and cleanup is a snap. Perfect for in the car or at home. All our toys work well with it too, even anal toys, they just glide in and out effortlessly. Just what we want so we can enjoy those pleasurable times. I find I don’t have to reapply when I am getting pounded good as the mood seems to be changed when we have to stop and reapply other lubes, not with this one, he just keeps on giving it to me. Cleanup is a snap and it doesn’t stain my dresses or even my little sheer panties. It’s well worth the money, in fact, a great value for the money. I just wish it came in different flavors, as we love the oral kind of love very often. I have found it still provides easy gliding with the prostrate toys or my rubber gloved fingers, that I use on hubby, and sometimes we spend a long time milking that wonderful little spot of his. Great buy, wish I had known about this stuff long ago. I’ll be a regular user.

Like many, I had never heard of this brand, but it was cheaper than, and works as well as, Astroglide or Trojan or the generic brands. I mainly want to note that, in my straight-guy context, the ladies prefer the Shibari water over the Shibari silicone. The water one is thinner, but works well with condoms or not (once you get your various tests and commit, like responsible adults!). The silicone lasts longer but is a bit thicker and felt a bit less "natural"--this tends for me to be a primer for natural lube (depending on a lady's age and a guy's dedication to foreplay), so the natural feel helps. However, the silicone is fine for other things, ie, her solo toys and, well, you get the point. Both will leave a bit of stain if not wiped off (sheets are fine). I had to laugh that someone said it is too slippery. What won't we humans complain about!? Guess you could add some sand to fix that "problem."

This is an intimate skin product and contains 2 types of parabens and DIAZOLIDINYL UREA all of which are on the dirty chemical cosmetics list. It causes allergic reactions, dermatitis, is a carcinogen precursor, it is just nasty stuff! So ask yourself, is this stuff worth poisoning your love making, poisoning your life? A slippery slope indeed! UPDATE! Brave Moose immediately replaced this product with a new "improved" (harmful stuff mostly removed) similar product. It still has Glycol in it but is otherwise cleaner. Brave Moose was great to work with, we just question why they sold us that garbage in the first place! The Shibari works well enough, stays slippery, kind of want to wash it off afterwards. ***UPDATE 2*** No No, first use caused uncomfortable skin irritation for both of us that took days to clear up. There is Glycol in this and it IS a known irritant. Try Sylk or Organic Jo but stay way from this stuff!

Hard to describe. Closer to water than to oil. Not a great lubricant.
