NOW Foods Supplements, Alpha Lipoic Acid 600 mg with Grape Seed Extract & Bioperine®, Extra Strength, 120 Veg Capsules

The active ingredient in the expensive Nervive supplement. Much less pricey, good value for money. NOW is a brand I've used for years with confidence.

I have purchased Now Alpha Lipoic Acid 600mg twice, taking one capsule in the morning and one in the evening - the same dosage as several studies that I read. I also take 1 PEA 600mg 1 time a day. Together, these supplements have healed long-term nerve inflammation and pain, along with neuropathy (a Neurologist attached me to a machine that sent electrical impulses through my limbs to chart where I had nerve damage) on both sides of the body. I WAS on Lyrica/Pregabulin 75 mg 2x daily and Low-Dose Naltrexone and Flexeril to relieve the pain - it was that bad! However, these supplements healed the nerve damage and in 5 weeks I noticed I could sleep through the night, had only mild neuropathy, pain was nearly gone. After a few more weeks, my doctors suggested tapering off my meds to determine if I was experiencing healing. After 3 weeks of tapering off the meds... I AM COMPLETELY FREE OF SCIATIC PAIN IN LEFT BUTT CHEEK, NEUROPATHY, AND MUSCLE SPASMS! Now, I continue to take these two along with 500mg of Magnesium Glycinate to maintain nerve and muscle health while I am trying to get better toned. My doctor said to keep at it through winter and then I should have better muscle strength and balance restored. My PCM, Neurologist, Pain Management Specialist - all agreed that ALA, PEA, and Magnesium Glycinate have healed the nerve damage and resolved the pain, coupled with the correct physical therapy exercises.

Works unbelived well! My blood sugar should be 150 at this time of the day. I saw it before and after. Amazing. It works better like in the picture. Eat fat first and then take one once a day.

Got this on the recommendation of my doctor to lower my cholesterol, it's what she takes Won't know if it's working until next blood test The ingredients are good without a lot of fillers and junk Capsules are easy to swallow Affordable Will be interesting to see if it helps with my neuropathy too.

I am not sure this is the same Product I have been using. The powder inside the capsules - has HARDEN and is different coloration than before. Plus - this product does not make my Urine Smell - as previous product has. IS THIS THE SAME PRODUCT???? I AM using this for Diabetic Neuropathy - which in the past has helped - somewhat. I am not sure about the new bottle which I received on yesterday.

I've noticed increased energy levels and a better pump after working out. Beware, sometimes your pee will strongly smell of melted rubber. I've done some research and discovered another variant called R Lipoic Acid which does similar things but I don't know yet. I'll continue to take this for now. Also if you tend to ingest a few or a lot of supplements in general, I'd advise you to drink a glass of lemon water or something every few days so you can avoid the buildup of kidney stones.
