Multi generational fun.
A game that can be enjoyed to be played with different or same generations. Sturdy pieces and board. Encourages creative thinking. Best of all the box is sturdy, we haven't had to tape it or replace it after lots and lots of rounds.

Well- crafted game by Ravensburger, but with uneven gameplay
This is a fun game to play with young children. The pieces are well made and attractive. However, the gameplay was uneven. There were some games that would last a very long time and others that were over very quickly. I think they need to amend the rules to help prevent those very simple games. We made our own rules to prevent anyone from using more than three tiles at a time.

Whole family likes to play
My whole family really likes to play this game. The game is played by adding tiles to build routes but roads, rails, and rivers but all must align so itโs not too simple and results are always different. It is challenging enough to be fun for the adults and yet still easy enough for small children. The images on the cards are amusing and it is well made materials, not flimsy. The box is well organized so all the pieces fit neatly when not in use. We are very happy with the purchase. It is not dissimilar to Water Works card game but each player must add to the same route instead of having your own individual path to build.

Great kids game
My daughter and I played this for hours and now my granddaughters and I can play it. Easy to play and good learning tool for kids.

A Long, Long Game. Hard to keep kids focused.
On the positive side, there's a lot of interesting imagery in this game, and I think every piece is uniquely drawn. But- this game is long. Really, really long- the game doesn't end until you've gone through almost all of the cards. For younger kids, carefully checking that your piece matches the pattern can be frustrating, and the length of the game can make it hard to keep attentive. For adults, the repetition is tiring, as is needing to help the kids find a matching piece, to cheer the kids up when they're feeling frustrated, and to keep them paying attention. I tried this first with one kid, and the game ran long. So I thought maybe the game would be faster with 4 players, but by the end of the game it became clear that it doesn't really change the pace of the game. And this game uses a *lot* of table space, which adds to the frustration for adults if you spend time shifting the game around to keep it centered on the table. It might be possible to make the game run faster with some tweaks to the rules and number of cards, but given how little entertainment it ended up giving back relative to other games, I'm feeling a bit disinclined to bother.

Versatile fun for a wide age range
We loved this game when my daughter was a kid, and played happily with different ages. I bought it for the toddler in my life. I'm sure we will get many hours of pleasure as he grows. At four, he is most interested in the pictures and making up his own game.

Almost like Carcassone for Little Ones
This is a great game - it can be super simple, but also pretty complex. I play it with a smart 4-year old. The tile building reminds me of Carcassone. It's simpler because it's just tiles & no strategy in "claiming land" (like Carcassone). There are three elements - rivers, roads, & railroads - so you can simplify it for younger kids - only looking at the roads, for example.

Really interesting game that even an adult can play without getting too bored. I bought it for my 4yr old, and while he enjoys it, it doesn't hold his attention for too long. I suspect he is a little young for the game and he will enjoy it more next year when he can evaluate the possibilities of the cards better.

Great game which doesn't get boring. On a rainy day with nowt on tv this is a fun game to keep the children and adults entertained. Similar to playing dominos but more interesting and strategic
