I was so tired of taking meds so I stopped! I felt like the walking dead! This was my decision because it didn't make since to take drugs that was hurting my organs so I just stopped. I fell better now then I have in so many years. I have pretty much given up meats eggs once in awhile cheese and absolutely nothing that is pre-made. Fruits n veggies nuts beans. I love my sweets so now in the evenings I will have a sliced apple with organic peanut butter or a orange or what ever kind of fruit that hits my fancy. Love it! Never eat that to close to bed time, you won't sleep well. Lesson I learned the hard way. Lol. The recipes gave me a start, then it just came to me with making your own. This is another thing I have taken control of in my life. This book help me get control over my eating habits. One up for me! For me this was ridiculously helpful in organizing a list for the store an how much it was going to make.

Love the recipes

He tells it like it is
Joe is the most uplifting, inspiring person out there right now! He shows you the way, shares other people's stories, shares his ups and downs. He tells it like it is, gives us the tools to help ourselves get healthier. I have 3 of his books and I read parts of them over and over to stay motivated. I love the recipes and the easy to follow instructions that he gives. Thank you Joe!

Great Well Rounded Book for Newbies!
Food recipes, juice recipes and smoothie recipes, guide for buying produce, tips, this book has it all and it's a great introduction to people new to juicing and a whole food lifestyle. Me, my husband and teenage stepdaughter love this book. So far I've only tried the juice recipes and all of them are AWESOME! Some of the veggies I don't like, but the way they make the recipes, you can't really taste them. The juices are soooo good!

Worth every penny you pay for it for every pound that you WILL loose!
Well written. I've been doing the green juice for a 3 months as one meal a day. My hour drive to work I no longer yawn and feel energized. I've lost 46 lbs so far in 3 months just by increasing my veggie fruit intake and lowering my carb intake. Major difference in energy. The biggest thing is I don't feel deprived. I have salad, meat protein, bread, potato...but more juicing has made a significant change in what I do. I love the recipe to take the juice pulp left over and make a veggie broth. Little bit of seasoning and instead of a hot tea in the evening a hot cup of juice. Yummy!!!! I'm going to try more of his recipes. Watch his movies "FAT, SICK, NEARLY DEAD" both of them. Worth every dime or I should say POUND lost!!!! Awesome Joe, just Awesome... Due to a back injury doing P90 I've had to lay off exercises but now that the pounds are coming off my back is feeling better and better. If you are over weight loose weight by juicing, then slowly get back to exercising....It WORKS!

Best recipes ever! And Ingredients I already have in the kitchen!
So many delicious, easy and fairly inexpensive recipes in this book for gout and inflammation. And thatโs really hard to find, especially since all the anti-inflammatory and gout diets Iโve tried seem so severely limiting! Not just tasty juices but smoothies like Put the Lime in the Coconut. And the Caprese Salad is amazing...you donโt need the cheese! And gluten free muffins that just use ground flaxseed for the grain/flour? Wow! And veggie โmeatโ balls? Now I donโt feel so limited anymore!

why not just eat the produce or at least make smoothies
wasting all the food left after juicing just doesnt make sense to me. you also wouldnt need 2 apples for one meal, 1/2 would prob do. salads would be good or crudites to stay raw. becuz im prediabetic, fiber, fat n protein is very important to me. i would need to use very little fruit n keep fiber in the food i eat. i would also to add fat to kill my cravings, trust me on this, ive done similar things. protein as raw eggs or raw yogurt and kefir would also keep me from getting lightheaded. i would put them in my smoothies to keep my eating-food all veggies that i crunched. im amazed that phil n joe had no bld sugar issues. im nowhere near as big and have problems wen i try fasting. or very light eating as these two did. bravo joe n phil ... u guys rock!

Love this book but use it wiselly.
It is a must to give you ideas on juicing and good juices to choose. Love that you have the informations you need to juice the wrigth way. A great diversity and good for your health. I'm not a reboot girl, but the recepieces are just perfect for me. It works wonder for your health and I found a natural energy source in juicing. Before i was always tired after work, now i can enjoy life and do activities i was unable to do before. It changed my life in many ways. You don't have to Reboot, but juicing in addition to eating wrigth changed me in so many ways. I do sometime eat fast food, but juicing help to rebalance everything. You have to start buy juicing fruits and you add veggies slowly. Changes are hard to do so do it a little at a time. Don't go to the extreme if you want to keep doing it. Little changes at a time work best in the long run.

Buy it, use it, get healthy
Terrific book with loads of information and recipe's and tips on how to juice. I actually bought a second copy as friends would visit and want to borrow the book and you know how some people just take forever to return things...
