I've decided to edit this review because after a few times wearing this foundation, I'm liking it more and getting used to more of a shiny finish. It also provides good coverage. I really wanted to like this foundation as I love the fact it's quite natural compared to others. I've used a Lavera cream 2 in 1 foundation for years but unfortunately this doesn't seem to be available anymore. I have used the Lavera liquid foundation in the past quite a few years ago and found it OK but I think it may be a new formula perhaps. This foundation is thick to apply and quite heavy, I used a brush to apply to try and distribute it evenly and ended up also needing to blend with my fingers. The coverage is good but unfortunately there is allot of shine, so good if you like that look. If you prefer a more matte effect, powder is absolutely essential. I did use the Lavera loose powder on top of the foundation and whilst this took some of the shine away, my skin still has that shiny look I do not like, particularly because I find it enhances and shows up my lines and wrinkles! I bought the cool ivory and this colour works well for my skin, I normally use ivory shades as I'm quite pale. I do have a slight tan from summer, so time will tell with how it looks when I am paler. I'm thinking for very pale complexions it may be slightly too dark. I will probably use it for daily wear rather than a night out.

Very thick and quick drying to apply and yes glowy once on but I don't mind any of that. I like the coverage. The Cool ivory description was spot on for my skin colour and looks natural with a nice finish. I did use a little mineral powder to finish. The only disappointment is its Yuka score, see photos. Manufacturers lots of fragrance isn't needed in a product specifically purchased to be more natural and have less chemicals. Benzyl Salicylate specifically is an endocrine disruptor with scientific studies proving foetal damage. Read attached photo and DON'T use if pregnant. Makes you wonder if it would also effect conceiving and fertility in general 🤔

Very good foundation if you’re someone with dry or mature skin. I like to apply with my fingers to achieve a skin like finish. It does the job brilliantly. I suppose the hack with this foundation is to use very little and build up as needed. I can’t say how it looks with powder as I do not use it. For what I needed, it was superb. Please keep in mind that this is a GLOWY foundation, I do love it, other people might not. So all in all, it is an excellent product, it depends on your needs, read the description.

Gorgeous foundation & a little goes a long way. The Warm Nude gives my fair’ish skin a lovely healthy glow. Smells & feels divine too.

A thick foundation

I’ve been looking for a vegan foundation that doesn’t feel like a mask, and this is it. The Natural Ivory 01 is a great match for fair skin with neutral undertones. Because it has hyaluronic acid and almond oil, it feels more like skincare than makeup, it’s very hydrating and leaves a lovely dewy finish. It’s lightweight, so it won’t hide every single freckle, but it’s perfect for evening out redness and giving a healthy glow. Great for sensitive skin since it’s mineral oil-free!

. ….. but, sadly, isn’t for me. I’ve worn Jane Iredale Liquid Minerals for decades and love it but the price has hiked to (c) £49 for 30ml and so I thought I should look elsewhere to economise. So I bought this Laverna product in Nude. Colour worked. My problem is that it is SO SO thick. I apply my foundation with a Laura Geller brush but really needed to pull my skin to apply it. Which isn’t good. The Jane Iredale had always just glided on without any pressure or pulling. Second day, instead of apply my Olay Regenerist moisturiser direct, I mixed a blob of it with this foundation and it was definitely easier to apply without any pulling and with no loss of colour. However it still wasn’t as easy and smooth as the JI. My son agreed and said he’d buy one for me (they last me about 14/15-weeks applied daily). Skinmaze (Bournemouth) offer a special duo price of £82 so my son and I paid for one each. I think the Laverna is very good but better for young skin that is thicker and so is okay with it being stretched during application (as you age your facial skin becomes the thinnest skin on your body, hence the lines!). I would still, however, suggest thinning it with your usual moisturiser. (Maybe Laverna could add a good moisturiser to their recipe to create a thinner smoother product?) .

Absolutely fantastic for me. I have combination skin, which skews more towards dry at the moment. I am only using the foundation on certain spots rather than full face. Why? Well, it's a perfect shade match for me, so I only put it on problem areas, and it works great. Probably not a good match for those with oily skin based on the formula. Though the quality is great, and it doesn't break the bank.

Lo uso da anni e sono veramente soddisfatta. Texture leggera, copertura giusta x non avere l’effetto “mascherone”lunga durata su pelle mista, non ostruisce i pori, mantiene la pelle idratata. Peccato che non si trovi più il colore 03 honey sand che per me era il top. Questo è un pochino più chiaro. Il prezzo è leggermente aumentato, ma per me ne vale la pena

Para mi la mejor! Suave y ligera, muy hidratante! Iguala la piel y es muy buena fórmula no contiene tóxicos y se nota! Ideal pieles sensibles.

I didn't expect to be like that. It's heavy and oily foundation. Not for my skin. Should be more informations about the product to know if it's light or heavy,oily or not.

I love this makeup. Not heavy and does not break out my skin.
