Does the 25th anniversary edition have higher quality cards? we have already purchased 3 sets of this game due to the poor card quality. ideas?

I was wondering the same thing. I would prefer better quality cards too.

Looking for a deck with large print for the visually impaired. My aging mother in law loves this game, but has a hard time seeing the cards.

I don't know if this game is available in large print.

And why can't they make a higher quality deck...plastic or even plastic coated??

We're devoted Five Crowns players. All our friends that enjoy card games become devotees immediately once they're introduced to the game. We've found that this particular deck, even when it's new, seems less slippery, yet the cards don't stick together and they're easy to deal and shuffle. They seem to be made of a different material than the regular version, although I could just be drinking my bath water... We LOVE this game!!!
