I am a former Vet Tech of 20 years and was very skeptical of this products claims. When my dogs play, they often grab each others ears. My female developed a small growth on her ear. In the bright sun outside you could see it had a major blood supply to it. My dog had just recently been spayed and had a reaction to anesthesia so I didn’t want to have her sedated again so soon. I found this product while looking for something else. I knew the benefits of mushrooms for humans so I thought I would try it out before putting my dog at risk from anesthesia and I also couldn’t afford the $700 price tag to have it removed. The photos were taken just 12 days apart. The first photo is on day one of starting the powder and the second photo is today. I am beyond impressed! The growth started shrinking in size around day 3. Around day 9, the outer surface of the growth sloughed off leaving a very small nub and fresh skin exposed underneath. My dog"s coat has also improved and started coming in a little thicker. When we got her from a rescue, she had several bald patches from ringworm. Her ringworm had cleared up but months later she still had bald patches, we thought might have been scars. But no, all skin issues have improved and no more bald patches. Her coat is also super soft now. I highly recommend this product for any lumps and skin issues. Started giving it to my other dog too, now his coat is so much softer than before! UPDATE: 3rd photo is exactly one month after starting product. Growth completely gone now, area is bald but hair is starting to grow back. Couldn't be happier! I did follow recommendations to double the dose at the start. Gave double dose for one week then reduced down to regular amount.

Cannot recommend this product enough! I have two senior English bulldogs who both suffer from allergies, and typically their monthly allergy shot helps to keep flare ups at bay. However, one of my bulldogs is currently recovering from TPLO surgery and hasn’t been able to consistently get his allergy shots as usual, so I was hoping to find anything that could help carry him over in the meantime until he’s able to fully be mobile again. Over their combined 18 years of life, we’ve tried countless supplements that haven’t seemed to hurt, but also haven’t noticeably made a positive difference in any way. I am SO pleasantly surprised and thrilled at how well Buddy Guard has worked for Walter’s allergies, particularly in absence of his allergy shots. Buddy Guard is one of the rare supplements that actually does what it says it’s intended to do and is now a new permanent staple in their diets!

I don’t know if this product works, but it didn’t work for my dog and made him sick. I started with 1/4 of the dosage and worked it up to 1/2 dosage in a week and at that dosage, he became lethargic and wouldn’t leave his bed for a few days and could barely keep his eyes open. His fur started falling out as well. He’s typically a very energetic dog. So I stopped and the next day he was back to normal. Tried it again, same thing happened but his eyes started turning red too. Stopped it again and he’s back to normal. Worried about the effects it may be having, I requested a refund from their website and gave them my Amazon order number. So the 4 stars is for customer service honoring the money back guarantee. Thank you for that as supplements for dogs are quite expensive. It does seem like a very quality product but it just didn’t work well with my dog. Really wish that it did.

Our dogs absolutely love it! It must taste good because they know when it’s not in their food and they eat slower with it and they seem to be more satisfied. I have a strong sniffer and there is no noticeable smell They eat better with it in their food. One is elderly and it has brought back his youthful energy. He loves to go on walks, run, play fetch again! He’s had lumpectomy’s in the past. We were not sure what to really expect. Within 24 hours we noticed their coats were softer and shiner. I love the scoop and sealing cap on the container. It would be nice to have a deeper / bigger scoop with measurements to ensure you’re actually giving them the right amount. As it can be difficult to determine if it’s enough or too much. In just 2 months, it seems as though the lumps on our elderly dog have gotten smaller. They have not had new lumps appear. Overall while a little pricier than I would like, I think it’s a great product.

Finding it hard to give an accurate score. We’ve used 4 cans. The dog likes the flavor and eats it up. Whether the effect is good or bad is hard to determine. It seems to keep the existing cysts at bay, but they weep and clot off at the sites. But, he has no new lipomas (we’ve had 3 large ones removed). So it appears to have worked, but can be messy if all cysts are weeping at once. So, I’m wondering if anyone else has had this issue? Is this how it’s supposed to work?

My 5 year old suffered a knee injury beginning of last summer and in true knee injury fashion injured the other in the fall🤦‍♀️ we decided to hold off on surgery because we were going into winter and we are not real active in the winter anyway. My boy has had gut issues since we adopted him as a pup so I thought it wouldn’t hurt to atleast give this a shot. I read gut issues will cause issues with healing processes so why not. We also have been using green lipped mussle and a cbd oil with glucosamine and chondroitin(along with meds from the vet until he seemed to no longer be in constant pain)He was recovering but at a snails pace with re-injury occasionally having to put him back on the pain meds. I purchased this over a month ago(on the second can) and it seems to really be a great addition to his regime. He eats his food no problems so the taste must be fine. And he seems to have more energy and has not re-injured or seems to have any discomfort since taking this product, and now that the weather is better we been spending a lot of time outside which would normally cause some soreness or limping but so far so good no issues! He does have a lump on his right side, and I’m watching to see also if it reduces but either way I think this has been a great addition to his healing process

Only giving it 4 stars because I can’t see any noticeable impact to my golden’s lumps or bumps (after over two months of continued use as prescribed). I also think the price is a bit rich but I’m willing to continue with it for a time longer to see if any improvements on the LB issues. That said, I definitely see an impact in energy levels and he LOVES it in the food. So, 4 stars.
