Fireside Holiday Candle Gifts for Women and Men, 9.7 oz Medium Hourglass Candle with Crackling Wick

This WoodWick Fireside candle is exactly what I was hoping for. The scent is warm and cozy, like a real fireplace burning on a cold evening. It’s not too sweet or overpowering, which I really appreciate. It makes the room feel comfortable and relaxing without giving me a headache. The wooden wick is my favorite part. It actually crackles while it burns, and the sound is surprisingly calming. It really does feel like having a small fire going, especially at night. The candle burns evenly, and the scent throw is strong enough to fill a living room without being overwhelming. I also like the size and look of the jar. The 9.7 oz hourglass glass looks nice on a table or shelf, and it makes a great gift for both men and women. I’ve already used it during the holidays, but I can see myself burning this all winter long. If you’re looking for a quality fireside candle, a relaxing wooden wick candle, or a holiday candle gift that actually smells good, this one is a solid choice. I would definitely buy it again and try other WoodWick scents.

Love the vibe this gives off. The wick length is great i use this probably once a week and it’s been 4 months now and i still have lots left. High quality and the scent is awesome. Reminds me of toasted marshmallows and fall time. The crackling also gives off a fireplace vibe.

First woodwick I had was the Woodwick Vanilla Bean oblong candle. It almost looked like a mini fireplace, I loved it! Problem is - it’s too expensive to replace it. So I settled for the WoodWick Hourglass in Fireside - sure enough, I didn’t settle for less! If you’ve ever just melted and caramelized sugar in a sauce pan - that’s what this particular candle smells like! Just has a touch of sweet, woodsy scent along with it. Love how the lid of the candle doubles as a base to protect your surfaces! When you light it for the first time, the flame will appear offset but just give it a chance to do its job. The flame engulfs the wood wick and immediately starts crackling - just like a fireplace on a small scale! The flame is bright enough to light up a small room for a romantic or soothing environment. Very therapeutic. Like any candle, you have to maintain them. Make sure to carefully read the label on the bottom of the jar before you light it so you know what to do. Please don’t flip it while it’s lit and be careful when blowing it out as the wax on these candles are much less viscous than other candles. I don’t recommend using this candle for longer than 3 1/2 to 4 hours cause the wax liquefies quickly on the second or third use. This candle is totally worth every bit of the $18 I paid for it and I look forward to buying my next one from here! Shipped quickly, got here the next day.

Love, love, love these candles!! They burn well and smell fantastic. They are on my watch list so when they go on sale we can stock up!

My favorite candles on the market. Love the crackling sound. They pump out a lot of smell as well. They do burn down rather quick but still worth the money in my opinion.

Overall, I like this candle. It has a long burn time, I want to guess 30+ hours at least. The wood wick sounds great with a nice comfy crackling sound. The scent is sweeter than I expected but still nice. My only issue is that the scent is relatively weak. I can't smell it unless I'm basically right over the candle. I have it lit on my desk about 18 inches away and I can't smell anything.

One of our favorites! Makes the house smell like an expensive mountain lodge:). Love the look as well, fits nicely on a narrow table or mantle. It burns well and the iconic crackle of woodwicks… love.

Good smell

La vela huele muy bien y además es más grande de lo que esperaba. El sonido resulta muy agradable, en casa estamos muy contentos con ella. Repetiremos seguro!

La vela está fallada. Tiene partes que no tienen cera y el pabilo está cargado hacia un lado (no está en medio) por lo mismo se quema de forma irregular y se apaga.
