I bought this WAOAW sleep mask and earplugs set to use on planes and it’s been exactly what I hoped for. The mask fits comfortably around my head and blocks out light really well, which makes it much easier to actually sleep on flights or in bright hotel rooms. The earplugs are a nice bonus and do a good job of reducing noise without feeling uncomfortable in my ears. The materials feel soft and comfortable enough to wear for long stretches, and the whole set is lightweight and easy to pack in a travel bag. Between the mask and earplugs, I actually get a lot more rest on long trips than I used to. I have been a user of sleep masks for 2 and 1/2 decades. I guess I could have just said 25 years. The groove I found about 15 years ago was the tempurpedic eye mask, which can be bought for about $30, although I have seen it for twice that, I've almost always been able to find it at the $30 mark. That is a high quality mask, with very soft material, and it tends to stay put on my face. And I can open my eyes in that mask without any trouble. Then I bought a knock off, one made by a different company, that was made almost identically to the tempurpedic version, but somehow it didn't quite do the trick. Like the feeling was off, and I tell you all of this as a preface to why my hopes were not high for this mask. It looks like it's going to be one of those cheapy masks that you buy like 10 to a pack, or a medium scale airline will give you on a flight overseas, but the looks are deceiving. Compared to the tempurpedic design which is almost like a plushie with memory foam inside, and you could vaguely say that it has a shape to it, this is like architecture. The inside of it is well-formed with a deliberate cavity almost like a diving mask, leaving the entire area in front of the eyes unobstructed. It also thoroughly passes the test of any eye mask which is that absolutely zero light gets in. It's very comfortable, though my one concern about it is the material that the strap is made out of. The strap is adjustable, using some loops, as opposed to the tempurpedic approach which is to use Velcro. The tempurpedic elastic would wear out over time and I would run out of room to move the Velcro tighter and tighter, until I would buy a new mask. I don't have any complaints about the value I got out of it, but it is a design oversight. The concern I have about this one is that the elastic strap feels like it's made out of an even cheaper material, so I am worried that over time it will lose its elasticity and the mask will become somewhat useless, but at present, I find that I prefer this mask, even in my sleep. (I usually sleep with four or five sleep masks somewhere in the bed, and while I'm no longer in the habit of taking the mask off in my sleep, I still sometimes do, and then feel around to find another mask also in my sleep, and in the case of this one I seem to prefer it even when I'm unconscious).

Honestly I give it a 4.5 start rating. It really does block out all light and is very comfortable on my face. I got this due to having my partner as well as nieces and nephews who have to fall asleep to noise. Which sadly means I have to suffer time to time with the TV on when they visit me. However I'm also a side sleeper and thats where my issue lies. The mask gets uncomfortable and it pushes on my face which makes me have to readjust it to find a more comfortable placement.

OH MY GOODNESS, I LOVE THIS! It’s comfortable, it blacks out all the light, it’s material is soft but durable, and you can’t tell you have it on! Feels natural! I sleep great with it during the day at lunch in my car that’s how good it works!

This mask is great! It's the best one I've found. It's really soft and the band is stretchy but it holds it's shape well and contours the face snugly if you adjust the band properly. Most importantly for me, it doesn't let a bit of light in! I have a really hard time falling asleep and this keeps out even directly overhead lights so I can finally sleep early when my husband is gaming. The eye rim is a great depth so it doesn't pressure my eyelids so this will be great when I've got a migraine. 10/10

Weird thing to need. If you have migraines or travel a lot, you get it. Normal covers ALWAYS leak light, making headache worse. Or they squeeze eyes out the back of my skull. These are soft like silk, have a raised padded rim inside that acts as a second light shield stopping those gaps around face from letting in light without need to tighten them painfully. Wide band in back helpful for comfort. Overall excellent buy.

By far the best mask I’ve ever used, and I’ve used many. This truly keeps out the light and is very comfortable.
