Silicone Pastry Mat with Measurements. Finally a Baking Mat That Actually Works. Designed in the USA. Large 23” x 15”

Impressively sturdy yet incredibly flexible. It really does stay put on the countertop while rolling out pie dough and biscuits; might not hold for a large batch of sticky bread dough, but I just rolled out and shaped 48 sticky dinner rolls on it without a hitch. It also does a great job of transferring dough to the pie pan; just roll both ends toward the middle and center it over the pan before unrolling. Sooo much nicer than the one I've been using. The markings are accurate and useful, just don't forget to add diameter for pie crusts--a 9-inch pan needs a dough circle of about 11-1/2 inches. Also, use a metal bench knife very carefully as a corner could cut the silicon. I've repurposed a plastic scraper with great results. The smaller size-- "Large" -- is perfect for biscuits and other small jobs or maybe for restricted space. Otherwise, I recommend the new "Extra Large"he size. There's plenty of room for extra flour, etc. so it doesn't get on the counter top. That cuts clean-up considerably, something I really appreciate. Cleaning the mat itself is super easy, just rinse the under the sink sprayer and air dry. In all, this mat is the best I've used. I'm completely delighted with both sizes and very impressed with customer care. If you bake, you need this! Addendum on Nov. 9, 2016: Still fabulous after baking with these mats for almost a year! I used the smaller sized mat for smaller batches: biscuits, scones, etc. and the larger size for pies, pizza crusts, pasta dough, etc. They look brand new--pristine, in fact, despite use several times per week. They remain flexible, sturdy, and stationary! These workhorses belong in every kitchen. All my family will be receiving them this year!

Love it! Its 100% as described. I've used it several times and can't believe how much easier handling dough has become now there's no flour mess/hunks of dough stuck to counter to clean up! This mat is nonstick and stays where placed until you lift it up. I especially appreciate how much easier it makes handling very sticky dough like cinnamon rolls. Dough comes up from the mat cleanly and with very little prodding. Almost no extra flour (very scant amount) is needed to knead or roll out dough. Also the size is perfect for my small kitchen counter for the bread, roll and pizza dough recipes I make. I've gently used a bench scraper to portion and lift up edges of dough without any damage. After the edges of a very sticky dough have thee lifted, the dough is easily rolled with fingertips. In addition, the measurements are very handy. The mat is super easy to clean & dries in minutes. When dry, I just roll it up & put back in the box until next use, so it takes up very little storage space as well. Great product! Will definitely be doing more baking thanks to this!

This is a great baking mat. I have only used it twice but it has made my roll-out tasks much easier. I don't have much counter space for rolling so I use my portable island which doesn't have a good finish for that purpose. This fits perfectly, is a great size and it DOES NOT MOVE! However, it removes easily and then cleans up just as easily. When dry, it rolls up for convenient storage. Of course, the measurements, conversions and diagrams are real bonuses. Update - 12.21.14 I encountered a problem with my mat after a few uses. I sent a note to the seller hoping for a quick reply since I was in the middle of Christmas baking. I got a reply within just a few minutes and the solution was to send me a new one for replacement. They didn't even require that I send the other one back; they just wanted pictures. I got the replacement in just a few days and now I'm finished with Christmas baking a few days ahead! Thanks Sili Bake for great customer service.

Great mat - I did some fondant work, and it worked great. It stuck to my counter and didn't stick the fondant, which was exactly what I needed it to do. It's sturdy, but rolls up tight. I do wish the pastry circles went a little bigger, but understand that would take up a bunch of space and cover up some of the other cool features. Definitely recommend this! This is a great new tool for my home kitchen. It won't scurry around the counter like my earlier pastry mats did. It is easy to clean and VERY easy to store in a teeny-tiny kitchen, as it rolls up and slides neatly into the box it came in. My husband and I are downsizing from a 2700 square foot house to a 1250 square foot house--not so easy to do. Having a well-equipped kitchen is important to me, since after and 10-year hiatus, I'm looking forward to baking bread again. The Silicone Large Pastry Mat fits my needs perfectly. It's also great to have a wonderful sugar cooking recipe and measurements with conversions handily preprinted on the mat. The mat price was very good, too. I had looked at several pasty mats before ordering this one by Silibake. This pastry mat has met all my requirements beautifully. (By the way, customer support is also wonderful!)

Works well will not allow the mixing bold to slide around so it does its job. The only downside is if you are kneading bread it slides around the bench caused by the amount of pressure applied when kneading, but for everything else it's a goodun
