A total game changer. My dogs were bored with their food, I guess, so I started mixing this in. Not only do they get excited for mealtime, but they also finish it all! I feel like my money was well spent, and my pups are well fed now. These are amazing. I rehydrate it, mix it with their wet food, and top it with their kibble. I think the smell to them is 10000x what it originally was. I only give them one of these patties per meal when I prepare their food.

I have a picky toy poodle and this is one of the only foods she will eat. And when I visit my daughter her dog won’t leave me alone wanting my dog food instead of hers. Great quality and the dogs love it!!

I feed my 3 year old, 10 pound Aussie Doodle Stella and Chewy’s 3 Super Beef patties broken in 1/4’s every day and a 1/4 cup of Katherine Heigl’s Badlands baked super complete dog food every day. She is very well. Never sick. I take for check up once a year. I think this food has made her have a better quality of life. It’s expensive but well worth it.

Update 8/25/16: we still love our S&C for traveling, but we ordered duck duck goose this time and 95% of the bag was powder. There were only a few actual patties and the rest was disintegrated. It made measuring amounts extremely difficult and our one dog, the picky guy, isn't a fan when food is too mushy and didn't enjoy this bag as much. Our dog used to be the pickiest dog ever no matter the type of dry or wet food we gave him. He also had runny stool and an upset tummy for the first year of his life (vets couldnt find anything wrong) until we discovered freeze dried raw. Stella & Chewy's was the first food he actually enjoyed eating and gave him firmer stool for the most part. We knew we wanted to transition to homemade raw food and did so about 6 months ago. He gladly eats homemade raw food, has finally put some weight on, has firm stools, and is healthier and more energetic. We believe raw is the healthiest way to go, but it isn't always practical when traveling, backpacking, or camping. We've found that our picky guy likes Stella & Chewy's, Primal Nuggets, and another similar products. He refuses to eat freeze dried raw that has individual ingredients like Honest Kitchen or Sojos. Stella & Chewy's is cheaper than Primal so that's the main reason we decided on it for times when he can't eat real raw. Since it's freeze dried, the patties are extremely light and great for backpacking since he carries his own food and water. All you have to do is crumble up the proper number of patties for your dog, add water (I usually add enough to cover them completely, then drain off the extra) and serve. Dog food advisor rates Stella & Chewy's very high, so you know it's a good quality as far as commercial food goes. I usually stick to the beef, but there are a few other flavors I sometimes buy. I personally stear clear of the chicken and turkey since they've had a few recalls in the past. It seems like it's isolated to the bird flavors though. The last time we got a 25oz bag I counted out 54 patties. Our dog burns a lot of calories, so even though he's 30 lbs he needs about 8 or 9 a day to barely maintain weight. If he were to eat this food only it would cost us a fortune, since the large bag would only last about a week. If your dogs smaller or if you're looking for a great traveling food for your raw fed dog you can't go wrong with Stella & Chewy's Beef Patties. I have the pickiest dog in the world, I don’t even know why I ordered these because I was sure she wouldn’t eat them. However, as long as I give them to her in small pieces, she loves them. I also love the fact that I can crumble them on top of her kibble which incentivizes her to eat her kibble. She is so picky that it’s very hard to get her to eat. even though they have a gross texture, that doesn’t really matter because my dog loves the texture. They don’t really have any odor to them, which is surprising because usually dogs love treats that have a discernible older. The patties are a lot bigger than I was expecting, you wouldn’t want to have them any bigger, but the cool thing is, you can break them up into any size you want

I buy these on subscription. Expensive yes. Worth every penny, oh wait soon there won't be any more pennies, dime, yes. These do leave some dust in the bag but I just pour that out into their kibble. I don't feed these exclusive as I have 8 dogs but these patties are great for puppies and for dogs that have to eat something on long hauls to a dog show or camping. (We do both). When traveling I give pieces dry so they are forced to drink more water, not recommended by the manufacturer so understand what you are doing before you just do what I do. My subscription is every two bags every month so you can guess my obsession with my dogs. So far they haven't added a bunch of filler and the protein is still high which I love. Again I don't just feed the Stella's Super Beef Dinner Patties to my dogs but the Super Beef Dinner Patties from Stella and Chewy are the only freeze dried food I feed my dogs. That get kibble from a different company and occasionally a supplement from a third company. If you are thinking of getting a freeze dried food I highly recommend this one.

My 2 year old Corgi likes almost any dog food I have fed him. I read an article about how kibble is made and includes using high temperatures and investigated it more and decided to try this product. My Dog LOVES it. He is really excited at meal time and it is obviously his favorite. I recommend it to everyone who has a dog to try it.

Buddy loves his dinner 'pucks' whole....not crumbled, not wet.....whole. Amazon needs to package Stella & Chewy's beef patties in a box for delivery. These patties can crumble easily and with any rough handling or under something heavy will crumble easily. So, sometimes I have a lot of crumbled patties at the bottom of the bag and Buddy won't eat crumbled patties. What a waste$. Please Amazon, improve shipping packaging. Buddy says thank you.

Great value ! My dog loves this product!

We have two dogs, a 4-year-old and a 2 year old, and they are both very picky eaters. They absolutely love these patties! We will take a chunk off and rub them between our palms to make a powder, and sprinkle them over their food. Definitely makes a big difference in what they will eat. Also, a much better price point than the smaller ones. They are quite easy to break up or make into a powder worth the extra work for the price point.

My small Yorkie-Poodle is 2.5 years old and always showed avoidance to kibble. I have tried so many different things to encourage him to eat kibble - including different brands, soaking kibble, adding pumpkin, etc.. He was just not motivated to eat kibble. However, he is a food motivated dog as he does well with other (human) foods and treats. My trainer recommended this item. It took a while for my dog to be open to trying it (probably simce we've had to try so many different foods in the past). But after about a month to open up to this, he now really enjoys this and once i put down his meal with this, he'll eat it with no fussing. I love that i can cut the patties into smaller pieces. I tend to cut up 2 patties and take them outside to use a treats for his morning walks. He really enjoys sniffling for the small pieces in grassy areas. I also like that i can add water to hydrate the patties. I usually add water as per the package instructions, salmon oil supplement, and a dried sweet potato chew. He had his off days, but he now eats this fairly reliably in the mornings for his breakfast (he gets homemade meals for dinner so he has some variety). It has significantly reduced my stress around his picky eating habits!
