Sliding Closet Door Lock - No Drill Easy Install, 4 Pack, Clear

My cat loves to climb the wire shelving in my closets. Best case scenario, she kicks everything off each shelf, and worst case, she slips, falls, and hurts herself. Just keeping the doors closed worked fine until she discovered she could slide the mirrored doors open and get inside whenever she wanted. I ordered these and they work perfectly. It's only been a month, but if they do fall off later down the road, I not only have extras, but she now knows not to bother trying to open the closets - I may not even need them anymore. Highly recommended for keeping cats from opening sliding mirror doors. I just wish there was a lock for kitchen cabinets that was this user-friendly.

Super quick and easy put on and very effective. Worked immediately to contain the toddler. We have a very old wooden farmhouse slider that doesn't lock at all. Now that its sprint my toddler will try to just run out the door as soon as he wakes up and continues to escape anytime we try to go inside. This definitely keeps him in the house which will make my life a lot easier. I also put one on the outside of the door for the screen for when I'm outside and dont want him coming out.

We have an oversized stacking slider (3 doors slide into 1) and my two-year-old son is able to push a little chair over and unlock the door and push it open. We do have a fenced in yard and locked gates, but I still fear one day he may figure out a way over the fence, as its not very high. I spent weeks trying to figure out a way to secure this door without damaging or altering the door itself. I wasn’t sure how secure these would be, but figured I’d give them a try. So far they are GREAT! Extremely sticky! So sticky, i put one on lightly, just a little crooked, and i couldn’t remove it to straighten it. So make sure it’s exactly how you want it before it touching any surface. I did use rubbing alcohol on the glass first and let it dry before applying: and it is very secure. I also put one on an upstairs window in our playroom, which gives better peace of mind while the kids play upstairs. I definitely recommend these. If i have any issues, I will be sure to update my review.

These kept our 2 year old from opening the sliding glass door for a bit. Easy to install but the durability only lasted for a short time due to one of the flaps breaking off. The 2nd flap work still but then my son figured out that he can take a broom handle and use it to flip the flap up so it would not keep the door close. I am buying again definitely as it was the best product that can keep my son inside the house.

Oh my gosh, this little gadget works great. 3 year old grandson is fascinated with sliding deck door that leads out to in ground pool, installed this fairly high up on inside glass of sliding door and he was literally hanging on the door trying to slide it open and it held in place just fine. Awesome find, gives me some peace of mind that he won't be able to get door open or reach the lock without me hearing him slide chair across the floor. Update: Two years later the original safety lock still in place on sliding door and working wonderfully to keep now 5 year old grandson and his 2 year old brother from opening sliding door to deck. I have installed a second one on the outside of the slider to keep kids from opening/closing/opening/closing sliding door repeatedly while outside, or from running into the house before drying off. Can’t say enough good things about peace of mind this brings me.

This is maybe the most useful item I’ve ever purchased on Amazon. Our rescue dog has some behavior challenges. So when guests are over he stays in his bed in the office. The only problem with that arrangement was that the office door is a sliding door with no lock, and our dog could jump up on and use his paws to open the door pretty easily. I Decided to try these door stoppers before investing in a new door, and am so glad I did. They work PERFECTLY and keep the sliding door totally locked, even with a 60 lb dog trying to open it. They were easy to secure and seem to be well adhered. We’ve had them on the door (which is wood) for about 8 months now and they haven’t fallen off or even gotten loose. 10/10 recommend!

This does work for little kids which is the intention but I need something sturdier since my partner has already broken it off 3 times when opening the door.

We were previously using Munchkin Xtraguard locking latches to prevent our baby from opening our sliding glass closet doors and bathroom door. Those worked well for the intended purpose, but not only are they expensive, they are quite ugly, but they will damage your wall when the locking adhesive pad is ultimately removed. I accidentally forgot that I had the lock enabled, opened the door, and managed to tear the locking pad right off our painted wall, along with the paint and drywall paper under it. I wish I had known about this produce before buying those munchkin locks, because it is absolutely perfectly designed, and much more elegant and aesthetically unobtrusive than the Munchkin product. Instead of having to use two Munchkin latches to secure a set of sliding doors, with this product, you only need to use one lock in order to lock both doors in place. The clear plastic design doesn't call attention to itself, and you won't have to worry about damaging your walls, since this lock is applied on the door itself (at least on with glass/mirrored sliding doors). Super awesome.

Simple, practical, and does the Job. Value for money. Cons: Its manual. It would have made more sense if it could automatically go back to its locking position. There is a possibility to forget restoring it to its locking position.

Purchased for a sliding window at almost floor level to prevent my toddler from pushing out the screen and falling a storey. Very Easy to install. Since my toddler learnedcfast that the window doesn't open all the way anymore she has stopped playing with it. Great product!

Its a good product for locking the sliding door, but a couple of the folding wings broke off after only a small amount of use
