We used it to cover an old telephone unused outlet Easy to install, and we painted it to match the wall. Don't even notice it now. Was a fast fix for the hole in the sheetrock.

These needed some sanding but painted the same color as the wall were convenient for covering unused outlets without Sheetrock repair.

I purchased 3 blank plates, one came in damaged. It was not the shipping. There was a deep knife cut on the plate that ruin it. Someone should have pulled it before it was packaged. I had planned to use them because of the natural wood but now I can not because I need 3 matching. I also planned on buying around 200 dollars worth of their classic switch plates and then I saw the photos of how easily they scratch .I would not call their products quality made.

Something not mentioned and a huge PLUS is the inside is lined with metal.

Used it as a base for my height speakers used in an Atmos setup, works great and I think it gives it a nicer look.

These stained very well! They look nice!
