Soda Stick is THE king of carbonation!
I love my Soda Stick. This product is the evolved version of the original fizz giz, and soda rope. You attach a paintball tank to one end and carbonate with the other end, no tubing no clutter no wasted countertop space. You can create extremely carbonated drinks with this device, and if you like, even more carbonated than store bought sodas. It's very easy to use. Since we got it we have started drinking more water. I recommend you purchase a paintball tank here on amazon have it sent to Fizz Giz HQ and have them replace the standard pin valve with an on/off valve. The Soda Stick gets better carbonation than any other consumer carbonation device out there. Some ideas for use: Fizzy Soda water (flavored or plain) Vinegar drinks (5 parts soda water, 2 parts cranberry or grape juice, 1 part apple cider vinegar) Homemade Cola (lots of recipes online) Beer/Growler Carbonation Aquarium Co2 Dosing Molecular Gastronomy The way it's made is solid, fine craftsmanship, feels like a well made tool. Appears built to last a lifetime. Made in USA with US Manufactured parts, which I like. In the first week alone, my household saved $28 dollars not buying store bought packaged and shipped bottled seltzer water and eliminated a lot of plastic waste.

I love my Soda Stick
I love my Soda Stick! I ordered the Soda Stick because my boyfriend and I love sparkling water, but were tired of paying so much for the bubblies. We also felt guilty about all the cans and bottles we were sending to the recycling center. We didn't want to buy the BigNameProduct because it wasn't a financially sound decision. Enter: the Soda Stick. The higher upfront cost was well worth it. After the first few times, carbonating the water was easy peasy. It literally takes less than a minute to carbonate 24 oz of water. The bubbles are tiny - tinier than store-bought carbonated water. It took some getting used to, but is lovely now. We bought a 24oz CO2 canister from the large sports store. I carbonate 1 24oz bottle at least 2x per day and. I've only had to fill the canister once. The Soda Stick and the CO2 tank sit on our counter and don't take up much space. My only complaint? I wish the bottles and original product weren't called "Fizz Giz." Everyone thinks I'm talking about something naughty. ;) BOTTOM LINE: BUY THIS PRODUCT. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. PS. We've been using glass bottles and washing them in the dishwasher. Not as easy as plastic, but I like the sustainability.

Free of packaged sodas at last!!
First of all, I love the design of the Soda Stick. While it's small enough to hang out in my utensil drawer, it can sit right on the counter looking svelte and modern, so that's where I keep it. THE SUMMARY: Love it. It's easy and safe and idiot-proof (which was sort of a concern in this household) I've made bottles of plain sparkling water, as well as fizzing up lemonade, and recently got creative with water accented with blended up strawberries and nectarines. I haven't had any problems, and it was delivered on time and undamaged. I would totally recommend this! I wait with baited breath for the handheld version this company has coming out (I've seen it online, but new ones don't get released for a bit from what they told me) .. Because I want the stick for my kitchen and the little guy handheld for on the go. DETAILS: I am not very techie or mechanically inclined, which worried me momentarily. But no need. You literally screw it on top of the CO2 tank. And.. that's it. So I started with washed out bottles from store-bought flavored seltzers. I clipped off the safety/tamper ring that was still on each. Soda Stick has a built in 'stop' to it, so you don't have to worry about blasting your bottle to the ceiling with too much co2 before scrambling to turn off the tank - so, it's easy easy easy. I used and recommend a paintball tank with the on/off turning thing. Online tutorial recommend filling your bottle til it stops, then shaking for a bit, then carbonating again, then shaking.. etc a few times to really get the CO2 incorporated. (PS - I have heard this is why the countertop machines like soda stream don't produce very carbonated drinks - because you can't shake it) BUT, I found I just carbonated, shook, carbonated, shook and that's all I needed to get it nice and fizzy for me. I think my average time is a total of 1 minute or something. And you don't have to clean anything up, so you can fill your bottle with water/juice, walk over to the counter, carbonate/shake x2 and walk away and spend less than 4 minutes of your life dealing with it. As my kids are getting to the age where they are starting to get a taste for sodas, we can do this; and we avoid the whole lifetime infatuation with the mega-brands o' sugar and chemicals. Yay!

Amazing Soda For Next to Nothing
If you have ever wanted an economical and efficient means of making soda at home, this is really the best way to go. It's so simple and requires almost no effort aside from shaking the bottle and testing the co2 to your desired taste. What makes this product so fantastic is that the cost of carbonating your soda is almost negligible. Not only is the cost of refilling the canister next to nothing, but the amount you get in the container far exceeds what you get with Soda Stream in terms of cost savings. However some of you may be wondering what the catch is. There really is no catch. The fact is that bottling soda costs next to nothing. Your basic ingredients are water and CO2 and whatever flavoring you wish to add. The reason why home soda makers are expensive is that most consumers don't want the hassle of bulky tanks and valves. Soda Stream takes advantage of that niche in the market by providing a simple and easy to use to use product, but then your limited to their tanks and their expensive system in which you exchange canisters at designated locations for a high price. With Soda Stick, you can use any standard CO2 canister of your choice, and fill it anywhere you want. You can also use this product on almost any bottle of your choosing with almost any type of beverage. With the Soda Stick you'll be enjoying delicious home made soda of your own for years to come.
