I have a housecat and last year bought several "Flat Cat" window meshes (another highly recommended item, by the way) so I could open the windows wide in summer without him escaping, or other cats coming in. I could see my cat would have liked to sit in front of the open windows as he kept stretching up to them, but there was no sill for him to sit on as the windows are floor to ceiling and it's the top half that opens. I was a bit sceptical about these suction cup platforms being able to take the weight, but having looked at other reviews and photos I decided to give it a try. I needed one like this rather than the more common type with cords coming from the front and going to suction cups high above the platform, as the part of the window above the platform will be open when this is in use. I got the mesh one as I hoped it would be able to fold down flat against the window when not in use, and it does - there's enough play in the diagonal supports to allow you to unhook them from the front the of the platform without having to remove any of the suction cups. When folded, it sits out cm from the window and fits (just!) into the space between my vertical blinds and the window, allowing me to open and close the blinds and curtains as usual. I think the sellers/manufacturers are missing a trick in not advertising this, as it makes the platform much more practical. One thing to note is that the measurements given on Amazon are for the platform only, but the suction cups come out beyond the edge of the platform at each side, so I would say you need a minimum window width of 57cm to be able to attach this. I have to say the quality is higher than I expected for the price, the wooden parts are smooth and feel solid, and the mesh is plastic coated and held taut enough that it only gives very slightly when the cat steps on it, unlike the radiator bed I had before which he never trusted as it sagged so much when he stepped on it. This is basically the cat version of one of those zero gavity loungers! Time will tell if the suction cups stand up to long term use, but they're certainly giant ones and it seems secure for now, a couple of months in.

Id tried other types of window hammocks but the fabric would never withstand our cats behaviour. This one is heavy duty and allows them to sleep, perch and play safely and with the best view! Super stable for even a bigger cat to stand on as you can see from the video

Have been looking for literal years for a nice perch for my bird to sit at on the window. Not sure if it's due to bird owners not being a major market but everything targeted for birds was absolutely awful, looked like it was made by someone with no access to appropriate material and definitely not pretty to look at. These lasted weeks tops before disintegrating and I was tearing my hair out confused as to why they make them so ugly and non-functional. Why use white plastic piping when you could use natural wood? Why make them so UGLY all the time??? Anyway I digress, I broadened my search and saw this window perch made for cats. Looked pretty so I got it. I assembled and instead of installing the mesh hammock thing all the way across, I left it hanging down at the window, so my bird can walk all around the "perch". The mesh hanging doubles as a window protector for the mess that comes from him 24/7. Sturdy, doesn't fall down, looks a million times better than window perches made for parrots.

This is my cat's favourite seat in the house! I love that I can fold it down super easily when I need to put the blinds down, without having to remove the suction cups. The suction cups themselves haven't budged an inch since I put it up several months ago and the rest of the structure still seems like new. This is despite my cat attempting to mangle it every night like some sort of post midnight feast gremlin. Having withstood her king Kong on the empire state building impression followed by a full reenactment of the lion king cliff scene I feel confident giving it 5 stars. If something breaks it will probably be the window not the bed... On a less exciting note it's also easy to clean and install. My only regret is not buying a second one for the downstairs window

This is a great window bed, it is so sturdy and i love the wood frame. My cats love it and all three kittens can sleep on it at the same time together. They also play a lot on it so it is great to keep them entertained and active. I have to say i have gotten a couple of other cat window beds since and i think this one comes out best in terms of quality. I would say that it is best for cats of four months and older. I did put it up for my kittens at three months and one did find it a little hard to get up on it at first as the suctions are at the bottom so it has to be higher but she is also the smallest of the bunch. They all use it fine from four months on.

I was sceptical about this as it is only attached with suction caps, and it was a bit wobble after assembling it so I wasn’t sure whether it would work. However it is very sturdy once on the window (this is day 2). My cats love it, they feel like they are in the Caribbean with all the sun shining on them now and birds chirping just outside the window. Now they only wish their maid brings their food to the window shelf from now on… Note: my husband hasn’t seen it yet. He might think it is absolute nonsense and that I have officially lost it 😃

I've had for a month now and aesthetically it's exactly what I was looking for but functionally it's not as strong as I'd have liked. One side broke last week so I glued it together (as photographed) and today the other side went. I have three cats and two of which like this, one likes to sit on in while the other leans on the window and taps him from underneath, sometimes putting weight on the poles that hold it in place while playing. I know this isn't meant for two cats, and my cats aren't the smallest with one weighing 4kg and the other 6.3kg so if they were both sat on in they would be passing the weight limit and I'd understand why it broke. But the smaller of the two sits on it while the larger boops him from below, so definitely not hitting the 11kg limit advertised. It's also odd that both sides broke on the underside of the supports, not where there should have been any pressure to split the wood. It's not too big a deal as I can glue the fittings back in and secure the wood back again, but it's annoying given this wasn't the cheapest hammock on the market but hasn't held up as well as my in laws £7 one. I also found when I first installed it that the suckers were numbered and having two 3's on one side and two 6's on the other wouldn't secure it to my window. I changed it to two 6's on the top and the 3's on the bottom and it stuck without any problem. No idea why that was but it worked. I think 4 stars is more than fair, if I wasn't able to fix the brake so easily I'd probably have given it a 2 but a bit of glue and some troubleshooting and it's still a function hammock that looks great in the window thankfully. The sellers were also really good with communications and checking up on how the product was received and working.

Bought this in 2023 think around sept may be somewhere near that, anyway it was easy to set up, i was a bit hesitant as to whether it would stay in place but the suction is amazing on it, it's never fallen off. My cat loves it, he'll spend hrs in/on it either with a blanket or not he's not bothered. He loves it, so we'll worth the money, happy cat 😺 that what we want isn't it. Would definitely recommend

Nous hésitions à acquérir un hamac pour chats par peur de chute. Notre fille ayant acheté un modèle quasi équivalent et n’ayant eu aucun problème nous nous sommes lancés. Nous avons donc commandé ce modèle après avoir vu que les commentaires étaient positifs et nous sommes pas déçus du tout. Le montage est très simple avec la clef allen fournie dans le kit, on ressent la qualité au montage de celui-ci. J’ai ensuite mis les ventouses dans l’eau chaude pendant 5 minutes avant fixation sur notre baie vitrée comme demandé et aucun souci ça tient parfaitement. Notre chat d’un peu plus de 4 kilos y a trouvé tout de suite sa place. Plus: structure robuste, ventouses bien dimensionnées, pas de câbles gênants l’accès au hamac, toile plastifiée et aérée. Moins. Ne s’adapte pas à une petite fenêtre standard mais uniquement à une porte-fenêtre ou baie vitrée, pas repliable Je conseille ce produit et pense en acquérir un deuxième. . Comme je l’avais écrit, j’ai donc commandé un deuxième exemplaire afin de le mettre sur la fenêtre de notre chambre qui est beaucoup plus petite (voir les deux dernières photos) j’ai donc retiré 4 cm sur chaque traverse en bois afin de l’adapter et c’est nickel comme vous pouvez le voir (4 cm c’est le maximum possible à mon avis).

ho acquistato questo prodotto per i miei gatti ,infatti ne ho preso solo 1, poi ho visto che hanno apprezzato il regalo ne ho ordinato un altro.a me personalmente piace ho letto tante recensioni positive .spero possa servire la mia . comunque è un bel prodotto ,la base tessuto traspirante ,aste in legno ,bacchette per tenere le ventose in acciaio ,ventose grandi e molto resistenti,anzi si fa fatica dopo a tirarle via se non si è messo bene . quindi prima di fissarlo guardate bene . comunque top di gamma davvero ! i miei gatti pesano zoe 6kg Maty 4 e regge bene .
