Solid stand but be prepared for useless assembly directions.
As with many of these foreign made products, the assembly directions were unclear and incorrect - total garbage. However, if you have some experience assembling these kinds of things it was fairly easy to figure out. You just need to get the main parts in the correct orientation and my advice is to tighten all screws by hand only and then once you've verified that the entire assembly is put together correctly, you can use the provided hex tool to tighten up all the screws. At first, I thought that the individual components felt a little cheap and flimsy. However, once the entire stand is assembled and all the screws are tightened up, it's rock solid. We use it to store two eMountain Bikes that each weigh over 50 lbs. and it works out perfectly. We simply store one bike with the front wheel in the stand and the other bike with the rear wheel in the stand so that the handlebars are staggered and don't conflict with each other. I am very pleasantly surprised by how effective this stand is for the price point, hence my 5-star review despite the poor assembly directions.

Works exactly as hoped!
We ordered this rack to keep our bikes from falling into each other or into our vehicles. The rack keeps the bikes upright and in place and works exactly as we had hoped. It was super easy to assemble. Highly recommend.

The bike rack is good, but the instructions are not.
I just received this yesterday and have assembled it so it has not gotten a lot of use yet, but I wanted to note my comments about the assembly while I still remembered. When assembled, the stand seems sturdy and I am happy with it. But the assembly instructions leave much to be desired. I consider myself handy, and had to reassemble a couple of items, so I thought I would give more advice on the assembly here. First in my package, there were no short and long screws, like were mentioned in the instructions. (They are actually bolts not screws.) There were only one length of bolt for the smaller size. I believe that this must have been changed after the instructions were written. The bolts I received worked fine. For steps 1 and 2: When attaching any of the pieces to the larger base rods (B) make sure that the holes in the center of the base rods (B) end up horizontal when the rack is assembled. If not, the left and right side of the base rod (B) needs to flip and then it will. If you do not do this, then the square cross strut (A) will not connect to the rack correctly. For step 2: When inserting the wheel stanchions (C), make sure that the holes halfway up the stanchions are oriented towards the center of the bike rack so that the cross brace (E) can be attached. For step 5: When tightening all of the bolts, tighten all all of the bolts that connect to the base rods (B) first and then place the rack on a level floor and tighten the remaining bolts. I did get a few scratches in the paint where I tightened the bolts. I believe that if you use a socket rather than a wrench, this will not happen. The bolts are all metric. I hope that these additional instructions help. If I had had these extra instructions with the rack, I would have given it 5 stars.

GREAT Bike Rack!
Great floor bike rack. Relatively easy to install, instructions are mostly clear, diagrams/pictures could be clearer in a couple areas. One suggestion, which they even mention - only loosely install all the fasteners as you go. This allows some parts to go together since design tolerances of the assembly are pretty tight. AFTER everything is together, then tighten all the screws/fasteners. Some are complaining that this item does not assemble together properly - they did not loosely assemble first, then tighten everything together after everything was assembled. The stand is VERY sturdy. It easily holds my sons two 26in/size medium mountain bikes. I have a 27.5 mountain bike and it holds it too. It looks like it could hole a 29in mountain bike too, but not much of the wheel would be locked in place. You can assemble it to where two bikes are side-by-side, but if you have wider handle bars like most mountain bikes have, the handlebars/grips will pretty much be on top of each other, making removing one of the bikes slightly difficult. That's the only real minor issue I have on this item, otherwise it is great. You can assemble the item to where the two bikes are NOT side-by-side, rather both bikes are in line, but that takes up more space. It has plastic/rubber on the bottom so it does not slip around on the garage floor that much. Overall it is a great value, very well made and sturdy.

Very Well Made - Doesn't Rust
Purchased 4 years ago and kept in a very humid environment without any rusting at all. 10" separation is a very tight fit for mountain bikes, but I have been able to make it work by alternating the bikes 1 head-in, 1 tail-in. Not all 26" bikes will work tail-in because the product will hit the derailleur, but 29" bikes have no problems with either direction. When I needed another rack for a third bike several years later, I bought a second one.

Terrible build quality, Terrible design
Absolutely terrible build quality. You can tell this was designed in CAD, and a prototype was never created, it just went straight to market. Thus no body realized that it physically cannot be assembled without torquing and bending the tubes. It is a nightmare to build even if you have matching sockets and power tools. Just watch the promo video with the AI voice-over in the product images section. you can see that they can't ever get it to sit flat on the floor, and it rocks side to side. after completing. It can be put together if you try hard enough and swear a few times.

Rack โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ, Instructions๐โญ๏ธ
I read reviews. I don't always write reviews. I had to this time. I purchased the like "new" product. Obviously someone wasn't able to finish putting it together. There were some scratches. I am a determined woman who loves to put things together. So I took the challenge. I almost gave up. But 1 solid hour later, it's complete. I say this so you know what you're getting into. Most important thing to remember is to barely attach everything because you are going to need to giggle the frame right down to the end to get all the screws in and tight. Also, some other reviews talk about using wrenches. This model came with a tool and that is all I used. The screws are a little different from some videos. See photos. Pros: Rack-Sturdy, heavy duty, solid. Cons: Instructions?๐คจ See photos for what mine came with. But it was enough to figure out where things go. Took me a full hour including mistakes. But, assembling it only has to be done once! ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ

Great stand but assembly was not friendly
Well, the rack itself is great!!! Once put together, I love it. I'm having to put 3 stars because of the assembly. Inside the box, most of the screws had come out of the little baggie they were supposed to be in. Also, the Styrofoam was breaking apart and little pieces of it were EVERYWHERE all over the parts--somehow it had gotten broken and torn, it shouldn't have been like that. And that stuff sticks to everything so I had it everywhere just getting the parts out of the box. So then I read the instructions with the picture. Seemed easy enough. 20-30 minutes it said. I was like "no way" because it seemed so easy. I'm pretty handy at putting things together thoroughly and quickly. But there were several things that made it take about 45 min. to put together!!!! First of all, the instructions tell you there are 3 sizes of screws: 6 small, 8 medium, and 2 long. Well there were 14 the same size and then the 2 long ones. Luckily the small ones worked for everything that I was supposed to use the small and medium ones for. So I'm following the directions but hit a few road blocks. Some of the holes weren't drilled enough for the screws to go in so I really had to force several of them into place. The instructions nor the picture indicated that 2 of the brackets needed to face a certain direction so I had to unscrew and switch them around. I was only hand-tightening all screws until I got done (it did recommend that) but like I said, some of the holes weren't drilled correctly so it made even the hand-tightening very difficult. Anyways, one it was all done and put together, and I vacuumed up all the Styrofoam, I love the stand. I guess for the price, I should've expected something but the stand itself is great.

Versatile, Sturdy and Affordable
Great and very affordable bike rack compared to the competition. This is a buy it for life kind of item since it is very sturdy and well built, and I don't see it needing to be replaced for many years to come. Fits mountain and hybrid bike wheels, both front and back. Not much else to say, if you're in the market for a ground bike rack, look no further. Would recommend to anyone.
