I usually use the main brand cream but this delivery was quicker and the cream is cheaper. The cream is clear which is a huge bonus for applying at work or out and about. The active ingredients are strong and it stops itching immediately.

Good

I've tried several cold sore treatments over the years, and Campho-Phenique Cold Sore Treatment Gel has been one of the most effective. The gel goes on easily and provides a cooling sensation that helps soothe pain, itching, and irritation almost immediately. I also like that it's easy to apply directly to the affected area without making a mess. The small tube is convenient to keep in a purse or medicine cabinet, so it's always on hand when I feel a cold sore coming on. With consistent use, it helped keep the area protected and made the healing process much more comfortable. If you're looking for quick, reliable relief from cold sore discomfort, I highly recommend giving this product a try.

Campho Phenique has been around for a very long time. I remember my mother using it on us as kids for cuts and scrapes. Years ago, I got a fever blister on my lip and purchased some at a local pharmacy. But it did not work nearly as fast as this little tube. I thought maybe the formula had changed with the previous Campho , maybe it was more diluted. I am not sure. But it took longer than usual to work, so I just quit stocking it in my home medicine kit. I then got a blister on my lip just a few days before buying this little tube. So frustrated because I also had what appeared to be perioral dermatitis. Which takes a good long time to go away. It looked like three little warts by the side of my mouth that regardless of what remedies I used, would not go away. I thought about visiting the dermatologist but knew I would eventually find something remedial on my own. I did know Tea Tree showed promise, and I did have some, but it was not healing them, just drying them out but they remained. Fast forward when the fever blister appeared, I went straight to Amazon and saw the thousands of reviews for this tube of Campho Phenique. The price was ridiculously cheap so I put my faith in the Campho once more. Day one after arriving. The fever blister by the end of the day was drying and fast. By end of day two, it was gone. Oh, there was still an area of darkness where it was, but that too would disappear by day 4. NOT ONLY THAT, but the little wart like, perioral lesions were also going away. They didnt just dry up and scab. They seemed to shrink, then dry a bit, then disappear and I had those for at least 3 months prior. I believe the Aloe in this tube of Campho Phenique is a great bonus. The lesions dont just dry out but are also softened by the aloe so your healing looks and feels so much better. This is necessary in your home medical kit to have when you need it. Truly a powerhouse
