I didn’t read the dimensions closely so I was (pleasantly) surprised at how big this puzzle is. I’m including a pic to show scale. Super chunky and great for early toddler age! Like all Melissa & Doug toys, this wooden puzzle is high quality and will hold up through lots of playtime!

We love these Melissa and Doug wooden puzzles. I have 2 others I used for my son when he was a baby and he loved them so I knew it would make the perfect gift for friends children! This one is especially great because it is not only a puzzle but incorporates shapes AND colors! Great for hands on parents for early education!

The pieces amare big and chunky for young toddlers to be able to hold. It has your basic shapes with eye catching colors for babies. No defects and arrived sleaed in plastic wrap to keep it clean and looking new.

Baby loves banging this around and using the knobs to clap the pieces together. Super durable. Great quality

Perfect puzzle for my 1 year old! The handles are great sizes and the puzzle has a good variety of shapes. I actually got it for when he was 10 months old because he was already showing some interests in puzzles and it was a little advanced but he got the hang of this puzzle quickly! It’s perfect if you’re looking for a puzzle for an older baby. Just know that if your baby chews on things a lot and chews on this, the print will come off.

For the youngest kids it's easy to learn how to fit the circle into its slot, follows by the triangle. Within weeks all the shapes can be consistently matched. The puzzle also reinforces color matching since each shape is a different color. The fact that it's a little house scene is clever but I don't think it makes any difference to an early toddler. Why not five stars: I thought the image was painted on, but unfortunately it's just a thin piece of paper glued to the wood that started peeling off in places. In addition, the edges of the pieces are roughly cut, which makes it harder to slide them into the slots and causes bits of sawdust to flake off. I wish they were sanded smooth. Still a solid first puzzle, just not made to last.

Bigger than I expected but my daughter LOVES it, she is nine months and obsessed with taking out the puzzle pieces, obviously has not figured out how to put them back in, but I like that this is a toy that she can have for a while and will continue to be entertained with. It is good overall value, when I got it, it was slightly on sale. It’s nice and sturdy and is a little heavier than I expected as well but overall, I’m very happy with it. It doesn’t feel flimsy with the weight, which is what I’ve seen with others.

Ich hatte dieses (und das andere mit den Haustieren) schöne Puzzle im Urlaub in einem Kinderbereich gesehen und als wir zu Hause waren, direkt danach geschaut und bestellt. Ich finde es schön gemacht, die drei Tiere lassen sich sehr gut herausnehmen und wieder hereinstecken, genau richtig für kleine Kinderhände. Meine Tochter war 14 Monate, als ich es gekauft habe.

ho trovato questo puzzle molto carino con disegni buffi. E'un po' pesante, come tutti i giochi in legno, se i bambini lo scaraventano in giro invece di giocarci. Sicuramente è per bambini intorno all'anno di età, dopo forse lo trovo troppo limitativo con solo 3 soggetti, meglio altre soluzioni più complete. I pioli si afferrano bene e il disegno c'è anche al di sotto per facilitare la soluzione, in complesso lo trovo un buon prodotto per introdurre l'idea di puzzle.
