Solid beginner paddle
Solid Starter Paddle That Delivers Great Value! The JOOLA Infinity Balance - Advanced Performance Ping Pong Paddle offers impressive performance for its affordable price, making it a smart pick over pricier options unless you're diving deep into competitive play. I appreciated its balanced feel right out of the box, providing consistent control and power for everyday rallies without any unnecessary frills. For beginners or casual players, this paddle punches above its weight, helping you build skills confidently while keeping costs low. It's perfect for newcomers starting in table tennis or folks who enjoy recreational games at home, the garage, or local clubs—think family matchups or friendly office tournaments where reliability matters more than pro-level spin. Even after multiple sessions, it holds up well with no signs of wear, delivering that solid basic performance every time without overcomplicating your game. Casual players will love how it supports steady improvement without demanding advanced technique. Highly recommend for anyone easing into ping pong—grab this and start having fun!

Better than Most
The Joola Infinity Balance (JIB) surpasses all other paddles (bats) I've played. Beginner sets (usually four paddles and some balls) are almost worthless. Paddles in the $10-15 range are an improvement, as are paddles in the $20 and up range. But the rubber alone on the JIB justifies the price: the surface is "grippy," allowing significant spin to be applied to the ball. The multi-layer construction also generates more velocity on impact compared to paddles of lesser quality. I would not recommend the paddle for beginners (they may have trouble keeping the ball in play due to the inherent speed generating characteristic of the paddle) but highly recommend it for intermediate players looking to step up their game.
