This is a heavy, sturdy hinge. Please make note that this is a single hinge, not a pair of hinges. I made the mistake of thinking I was purchasing a pair, since most hinges I’ve bought come 2 to a package. I had to place another order for the second hinge, and paid more than I had intended for the hinges for my new gate as a result. However, they look great and will last a long time, I’m sure.

Superior hinges!
Wow! We just spent a considerable amount on a new redwood fence that included one single and a double gate. We live with a lot of fog and not far from the ocean. So we went with these stainless steel, heavy duty, bearing hinges. We used stainless steel screws as well to install. Superb! Simply superb sturdiness and smooth operation. These babies will last a long time throughout the life of our gates!

Quality item
I used these to rehinge a cedar gate in the rainy NW. They were easy to install and have a nice finish. They are stainless steel and operate smoothly. The appear to be good quality hinges that should last.

Heavy Duty
I got a couple of the 10 inch hinges for a shed door on our salt water beach. The hinges are substantial…heavy and nicely finished. So heavy, in fact, that I decided to order some longer screws to make sure the door and hinges stay nicely anchored in the frame without sagging over time.The hinge comes with #14 x 1-1/2” flat head Phillips self tapping wood/sheet metal screws in stainless steel. I’ll stick with those to fasten the hinges to the door, but I ordered the same screws in 3” length to fasten to the frame. So nice to find nice, high quality hardware anymore, it seems to be virtually nonexistent.

misleading price per unit
the hinges are of a good quality however the quantity you receive is 50% of the quantity the web page describes, hence the unit cost is twice what's advertised.i m working with customer service to remedy this condition but delivery of the additional 3 hinges i paid for is now delayed?

Great item just what i needed

Solid build
These brackets are being used to support a pretty heavy wooden door behind our garage. They are tight -- not wobbly at all. These brackets will be exposed to Chesapeake Bay weather and sea salt spray and I am optimistic these will hold up and look decent for a while.
