Delicious & Lactose Free, but Shop Around for Better Prices
I discovered the NuGo bars a couple of months ago when looking for a healthy lactose free protein bar, and have been a happy repeat customer since. Not only are the NuGo bars delicious (love the dark mocha flavor!), but they are also high in protein (10 grams) and fiber (depending on the flavor you choose). They are definitely worth the money, but depending on when you order they can be a bit expensive. I usually eat two of these a day, one in the morning and one before I go to bed, so one order only lasts 4-6 days depending on whether my brother steals a couple of bars. With Amazon prices usually ranging from $17-25, you may end up paying $2 just for one protein bar! Even though they are delicious and healthy, $2 is too much for me to spend on a protein bar. So, I suggest you shop around for better prices. I ordered my last boxes from Soap.com, who are currently selling them for $11-13 with free two day shipping!

The shipment was hard and dried out
i’ve been a long time fan of these protein bars, and have purchased the chocolate mint bars for a long time and found the ones direct from the company have excellent These mocha bars in my shipment were hard as a rock dried out and practically inedible without being dipped in something like coffee or milk

Tasty protein bars
The NuGo protein bars are tasty and gluten free. We purchase this flavor when our favorite, the chocolate chip bars are not available. Anyone who likes mocha and dark chocolate will really like these. We gave it 4 stars because they arrived with off color chocolate... they must have melted a bit in transit and then hardened again. Still tasted ok but didn’t look as nice.

So delicious, not your typical protein bar
These are light, a bit crispy, and with just the right amount of sweetness. I toss a couple in my backpack for long bike rides and they are pefect.
