I needed to replace the water pump filter in my 2016 Thor Class C RV. This was exactly what I needed and easy to install. I also have a second filter for later. Price was excellent.

My house is in a constant state of remodeling. It's OK, I enjoy the work. So the kitchen faucet would loose most of its flow any time I disturbed any plumbing. This faucet is a royal PITA to unclog. These filters installed on top of the water pipes that feed the sink have kept the faucet debris free, and are easy to clean.

My old filter broke and had to be replaced. My RV water pump is mounted directly to the floor. The old filter was inline with the horizontal water pipe and circular, so it screwed right in without having to move the water pump. The new filters, because the actual filter sits below the water pipe has clearance issues and requires that you either raise the water pump off the floor and put it on a platform, or use an adapter and flexible hose to allow the filter to sit slightly above the water pump. This is the approach I took, as it's the simplest. It requires additional connections and hence, additional opportunities for leaks, but so far, so good. Final message: measure first and make sure you have clearance to install this.

I just needed to replace the strainer cup as it broke. The cup went on the existing strainer without issue. Saved me a lot of time replacing the entire unit.

Quality feels fine. Plastic but feels sturdy. Just pay attention to the little arrow showing the flow of water and do not over tighten. This is one of those products that just works. Nothing to write home about. I would buy again.

Perfect for my little pool heater project that is prone to getting the little mess filter blocked quickly, with this filter it's easy to do the job quicker and see if its blocked rather than having to strip down the heater connection.

I actrually use this on my stock waterer. Filters out fine grip that was getting in the diaphram and causing the float not to stop, and waterer was always over flowing. This little baby has solved the problem.
