MG Chemicals422C-55MLCA 422C Silicone Conformal Coating 55 mL Bottle

I love this stuff. It works great! I used it to waterproof a receiver for an RC ship on the water. Great durability and easy to apply.

I have done no scientific testing whatsoever with this coating. I can’t tell you from real world experience of building 15 to 20 drones that this coating will extend the life of your components , it’s excellent with heat really good with moisture and it doesn’t stress out your boards when curing like some coatings . This stuff you can paint a board then handle the board and install it all in about 10 or 15 minutes I believe this is a must have if you live in the southern hemisphere of the United States for moisture alone. I have lost a lot of boards to wet grass on a crash. I can tell you that I also use this on my VTX’s , receivers ,GPS Antanas , LEDs whatever I have seen no downside to this product.. what I do is lightly paint the board when I receive, Then do my soldering ,and my installl ,my wire placement everything . Then test everything then Before I button it up I’ll paint the top side of the board for sure sometimes the bottom again just to help with things like loosing pads or wires and I use as a light glue to help wires stay in place . I’ve built a lot of drones and I believe this is a must have for a builders toolbox. This coating is easy to apply and really does go a long way before running out . Only downside was I gobed a bunch is USB port then had to clean it out befor I could connect to beta flight , but that was user error. What I do now is shove a little silly putty in the USB port before painting then pop the putty out when done .I highly recommend this product . The odor is strong use in well ventilated area .

Works as intended, coats well and is visible under a black light.Highly recommended for quad builds. Don't cheap out.Definitely use in a ventilated area.

Other than the smell (volatile chemicals ya know?) this stuff is great!! It dries pretty quick, about 30 mins to 1hr depending on how thick you lay it down. I think it's 24hrs to cure fully. I did two coats on my FC and had to solder through it shortly after it cured, well it went fine. Then I touched up the solder joints and it was ready to go in short order. The fluorescent glow is a nice touch, just make sure you've got a UV torch of some type.

I bought this product to coat a circuit board in my cooktop. I had to replace the board twice because a boil over on the stove seeped into the board and caused it to short out. I think this conformal coating is going to do the trick. It was easy to apply; it came with too small brushes. I thought this was a bit on the pricey side but was not able to find cheaper anywhere else. The only reason I didn't give this five stars is because the product did not come with instructions. I had to go to the MG Chemicals website and download the application directions.

I used this for my speedybee fly stack and it seems to work well... at least I havent fried anything yet. Its a pretty big bottle. I use a lot of it and it still seems full.

This product solved my maytag washer control panel issues. It dries quickly so be very precise with your application. If you make a mistake, acetone does take it off.Highly recommend over having to clean the contacts every 4-6 weeks!
