3-Way Pool Valve 2"
I already owned one, so when my Pool Man reinstalled my 2" lines, he movedmy 1st Hayward Valve over to my Inputs, (Drain & Filter) to better controlthe flow mix to my Pump.. I had also ordered a New Hayward Heater..so when my pool man just piped my Filter Output to the Heater..I needed a new 3-Way.. to avoid sending powdered Chlorine into the Heater Copper Tubes all the time. This unit does the job perfectly- to bypass the heater most of the yearA Bonus,, the unit quickly unbolts, so that I can adjust everything.I also took the Valve Lever off,& spray-painted the lower triangle surface openings 1-side Green; the other Red,, with the protuding one left White Which provides an instant indication to my Pool Services, just what thesetup is.. Since I kept my 1st Hayward filter & added a Larger Filter.. to give me more days between backwashing the (2)Cartridges.I also got the Threaded version (Cheaper& better to install.). since itmeans I don't permanently cement into the Valves, but use 2" piecesto more easily fit into my system upgrades, later allow the threadedpipes to unscrew.. My old system had many junctions cemented. Now I can more easily adjust the systems layouts as desired.Also very fast 2 day Amazon Service.. Tho they repackaged the originalshipping 4x6" box into a much larger 14" box.. Wt 2.7 lbs.

Worked like a champ
I used this to replace an older diverter in a koi pond. The specifications for this diverter isn't thorough enough. The openings are for 2" pvc. So, I had to do a little conversion with existing piping to adapt to the new diverter since the original pipe sizes didn't match up to the diverter. All in all, very happy.

does not match picture or description
The product does not match the picture or the description, I needed a valve with 2" slip connection and this valve has 1.5' slip and 2" thread connections

As typical of Hayward, always top notch. You may pay a little more than a knock off but the quality means no coming back to rework a job.

I ordered this expecting the threads would match up with ...
I ordered this expecting the threads would match up with PVC connections. It did not! I had to glue PVC pipe into the valve and then affix fittings to make it work.

Poor quality control. Internal damage & missing parts.
Product was shipped without the union kit, and multiple internal o-rings were damaged and appeared to be incorrectly sized. According to the product description: "The PSV3SM features three externally threaded ports for use with SP1500UNPAK1, which is included with the valve."
